Reprobates at Quivira

I have a quest, ion. I was interdicted the other night and told to jettison my load of agri meds. Which I did as I didn't think much of my chances of fighting a wing of clippers alone. Problem is these were agri meds and I was not on my way to persephone, I was taking them to an agriculture system, would you have believed me if I had transmitted that, and let me go. I did not transmit that because I did not want to get destroyed because I was seen as stalling, . The cargo wasn't that big of a deal as opposed to the 3M butback of my ship. Agri meds were not part of the community goal at persephone

Not sure who the wing of Clippers were (we only had one), but if we caught you in Quivira with that story we most likely would have let you go with a warning not to come though Quivira again while the CG is up. We realize that there can be false positives and we certainly don't want to inconvenience normal traders. But it is a dangerous galaxy and mistakes are made, sometimes fatal.

It would be nice if FD did something like this:
[LOCAL][CMDR MALFARI]<LOCAL CHAT DISABLED>
[LOCAL][What do you want?]
[LOCAL][CMDR MALFARI]<LOCAL CHAT DISABLED>
[LOCAL][CMDR MALFARI]<LOCAL CHAT DISABLED>
[LOCAL][I have chat disabled, please dont shoot me]

If I put someone on ignore, or disable a chat channel, it's because I don't want them crapping up my chatlog, not because I want them crapping up my chatlog with stuff I can't even read.

No; I don't believe you.

You don't believe him? I've seen the video and he issued the commands. Or is it you don't believe he is sorry for killing me. Regretful or not (which I believe he is), he was doing good RP by dispatching me. I have to respect someone performing their role well even though I may not like it.

I created a new thread here with a montage video of the Quivira operation. It got buried quick so I wanted to link it here for those who were involved.

Would be cool if this game had alignments like in D&D and if you acted out of alignment you would get a big penalty. If you want to play evil - for instance stopping medicine from getting through - then you should get some bonuses for acting in alignment. If you are willing to brave the gauntlet in open and get those supplies through no matter what you should get some reward for acting in good alignment.

:)

That would be nice, but that doesn't really happen in reality and they are going for realism as much as possible. You might get a bigger bounty, which would make you friendlier with the pirate groups and worse with the authorities, or if you're doing good, you might get a better rep with the authorities, which would make you even worse scum to the pirates, but that's about it.

Hey, we interdicted you. I(t) was odd because we were giving you commands but it was like you did not get it. We have the video. My wing mates saw my commands, must have been a sync issue. Sorry we destroyed you.
You owned up to this, and apologized for the misunderstanding. +rep to you.

Yeah. I know. The T-7 is a slug. But I can't afford a clipper and you have to be an Earl to purchase one. I'm thinking about going the Empire Military route, but I am not good at combat and I would think you would have to take combat missions at some point to get promoted to Earl.
I have a T-7 and have been interdicted several times. I've never dropped an ounce of cargo and successfully run each time. I've taken damage, but the T-7 can be fixed cheaply with duct tape and bailing wire. Sitting still and attempting a reasonable chat with these armed thugs is the wrong move. Chaff, speed and some minor maneuvers can keep you out of their gun-sights. Lock onto another star system as they cannot mass lock you for a hyperspace jump. I have a few more tips as well, but PM me if you want them. Some things should come as a nasty surprise.

Paying parasites, (oops did I say that out loud) I mean pirates, only results in more pirates. Starving them out of existence is the only way. The drop in repair costs and fuel has made piracy more viable, but they can only profit if you cooperate and give them cargo.

Good luck.
