In-Development RGB Keyboard support for Elite

Just discovered Aurora and noticed with excitement that there's a profile for Elite. I must be doing something wrong though because all it does it turn all the keys dark red :(

Zombie thread revival for anyone else looking.. The 2024 updates to Aurora seem to have mangled the animation layer on my Logitech G512 with OpenRGB.

Keybinds are fine, background layer is fine, but the froody animations for FSD/Jump are confined to two or three leftmost keys in each column.
I'm yet to see if this is going to be annoying enough to dig into, register on github and try to post as a bug.

Of course, if anyone sees this and knows what's afoot, please pipe up! This started around v208 of Aurora.

Doesn't Aurora need a full install of Armory Crate these days?

I'm reckoning not specifically Armory Crate, as I uninstalled most of the vendor-specific apps and widgets and just put OpenRGB 0.9 on instead.

It's not perfect, but since I have a Logitech KB and mouse, Corsair RAM, MSI board, NZXT cooler, and Saitek HOTAS, it was getting ridiculous having one app per item, not everything was Aura-compatible, and some apps are ridiculous in their own right (looking at you, NZXT.)

Hi. In case anyone is interested, there is a tool that It does the same effects on keyboard, but It Is only for Chroma Razer.

Its based on the Elite journal file too (and other 2 files that I dont remember now)
I have tested It only with my RGB mouse (Razer) and seems to work very well. But I don't know if It has keybinds visualization, as my RGB keyboard is not compatible (for the moment XD firmware change soon XD)

I think It would work with Aurora through its Chroma connection, and so, anyone can use this tool without have any Razer device. Only needs the Razer Chroma SDK installed, needed for receive Chroma events (and send it to Aurora)

This may be a workaround too for people that want lights something more than the keyboard. The mouse, the LED lights...
Can someone say me if It Is possible with Aurora and OpenRGB working together?

Cheers
