No one knows what will be in future titles, we have to wait and see. But many people see this wish list as like, a current wish list for the upcoming game, not future games.
If you want to discuss the possibility of them being 2 in 1 in future games then that’s different.

I’m in no way knocking peoples ideas, dream away. I was just under the impression people were talking about the current Planzoo. Wish for whatever you want, I mean everyone is entitled to that. No harm done

Now that that's out of the way, can I just point out how fast this thread is gaining pages? Can we just please move on and go our separate ways? (Not attacking anyone, just pointing that out)

The only friendly way we can resolve this is by the Coaster side accepting that PlanZoo won't have coasters or any other major thrill rides, and for the Zoo side to stop arguing with the Coaster Side. (Please?)

Worst case scenario would be for a dev to legitimately shut this thread down (But can they do that though?)

This escalated quickly.

Most people agree that things like carousels or maybe Ferris wheels wouldn’t be so bad. But I think the main reason why people don’t want things like coasters is because it takes away from the main focus.

No one is saying people shouldn’t have wishlists or discuss them, just that the main point of this game should be animals that’s all.

if you dont want to discuss rides, why are you still complaining? you already got confirmation from Bo that rides wont be added into Plazoo, so you already got what you want, this is just a wishlist and theres no reason to point out who is part of which community

Whether you like it or not, the main focus of a zoo should be animals, not (with rides) as you put it, not guests entertainment. Now does that mean some guest entertainment is bad? No, not at all. Small flat rides can be useful, especially for the younger crowd.

The zoo I currently intern at doesn’t have rides, but we do have a water park (wave pool, 3-4 slides and lazy river) which can serve the same need rides do to some aspects.

While everyone is certainly entitled to their opinions, I think some people are just upset because there are some people of the planet coaster community that keep trying to push rides (I’m not looking at anyone in particular, there are people from the Planco community on nearly every social platform) and its causing conflict with those of the Planzoo community that just want animals (basically keeping the games separate) that doesn’t mean future games can’t incorporate both.

I know a lot of Planco fans were (or are) big fans of the RCT series, and a lot of Planzoo fans were (or are) big fans of the zoo tycoon series. That doesn’t mean someone can’t enjoy both games, but I think a lot of people have been waiting a long time for a worthy successor to zoo tycoon (there hasn’t been one since)

I’m not here to bash people on what they would like to see, People are free to wish for what they want.

I get not everyone is crazy about animals, but not everyone likes rides or enjoys amusement parks.

We're on topic though. We are still talking about rides. Like I said in an earlier post, it would only be off topic if we talked about something else entirely. When the mods came over to this conversation, they said nothing about us being off topic.

the last 3 posts have nothing to do with Rides, TigerRoar was actually talking about rides, and I shouldnt have responded to her like I did. but there have been many posts in the past 24 hours that were off topic and had to be deleted, and your previous statement about "only planet coaster community want rides" really got on my nerves since you said that after the mods had to come in and delete multiple posts. And now your doing it again.

I never said I was talking on behalf of the entire community, I said it was based off suggestions for Planco, but as somebody else mentioned (breezerHog?) the Planet Coaster community and Planet Zoo community are 2 different things, so that's fine, I'll take back what I said about me going off what Planet Coaster DLC's people had suggested.

I Think you didn't catch the purpose that I said "Not attacking anyone". Plus I didn't say anything about you not allowed to discuss your wishes. You're pretty much as free as anyone here to Discuss wishes (This IS a Wishlist forum)
