Rinse & Repeat =?

Unidentified Signal Sources. They're all over the place in SC. You can find them using the FSS or by manual scanning on SC (target them). The HGEs will drop G4-5 materials.

Thanks a lot, I always thought that USS thing is some space ship or so. Hehehe. Just saw a video about it from Exegious! G4-5 is what I need.

That thread certainly changed my perspective, the log-out / log-in assembly line bug/feature really is not required, can be used as a fall back when you really quickly need some stuff, otherwise I much prefer the combination of shaking up pirates and limpets collecting afterwards.

Don't tell that to the people that lost their joy playing against the HP-inflated NPC.

I said "the vast majority of PVE combat" and you counter that by complaining about Dangerous+ NPCs, which are the only ones to regularly sport souped up modules... come on.
Mind you I never particularly liked the concept of The Engineers either and barely ever deliberately engage in that loop (I mainly engineer my FSD, and once in a while I have a look to see if any of my gathered mats can give me anything nice), but there's no need to make stuff up to make things look worse than they are.

Another easy way of picking up lotsa mats is when you drop into a system, scan the nav beacon: that will show you where all the HGE's are. Go check them out: they will have up to 5 G5 manufactured mats. I found 3 HGE's in one system this morning. By the end of the morning I had dozens of G5 mats. Ludicrously easy, and I'm not grinding, just playing the way I always do: lotsa fun with just a bitta smart added.

Need to wait a few more hours before I can sneak past the officer at my orbital station to get in my conda. Last night I had a visitor from the Hebrides .... smoked salmon and Talisker.

🤕....the pain....

There must have been something wrong with the salmon ;) Hehehe

Side note: She is my all time favorite Rachmaninoff Interpret, and I heard in the region of about 50 different I would guess, because of her tempi, right up my sleeve the way she performs that g minor.

You didn't see that coming in a Elite Mats thread now did you?

Awesome!! (did she miss a key at 3.00 sharp?)
I think they made a mistake with the docking computer. They should tone it down by half, or they should remove the blue danoob and put this in.

Missing key's are allowed at certain tempi when it comes to Rachmaninoff or Scriabin in particular. The latter often needed a third five staff lines system to fit everything in there, two were not enough for him.

P.S. When Horrowitz died, I thought that's it, no one comes after that anymore.... then came Valentina.

THIS is what the mighty Bösendorfer Imperial is supposed to sound like. Those not familiar with it may wonder about the black keys in the lower register. F Busoni required some means to replicate the 16 to 32-foot bass pipes for his piano transscription of Bach's organ works, so he proposed to Bösendorfer a Grand with an additional nine keys in the bass, and the Model 290 was born.

I had an insightful exchange recently suggesting it wasn't the engineers but possibly the more coherent attribution of HP boosting gear that led to HP infaltion and bulletsponged enemies. Regardless, the outcome of whatever cause is snore-fest HP bloat. Gone are the days of crisp combat. Welcome to the grtind if you want to have your fun back.

I've always regarded the slot system to be flawed, because it only delivers more is better meta. I never considered stacking HRP much, except on the FAS because the shields sucked on it anyway. I'm no min-maxer. But I think the whole system is flawed at the core. And the changes they made to equipment - however consistent they are with the underlying design of how gear works - comes out less fun than it was in the beginning of the game. Significantly so - and the only reason why you would think it's made up is maybe you just dont notice with all the powercreep anymore.
