Ignoring the dire warning about not being able to change it - which was a lie.

Never messed with app data or different browsers, now the proud owner of purples on multiple CMDRs 🤷‍♀️

I did get everything purple I could find off the store though because I love purple.

this isn't really anything out of the ordinary. you greatly overestimate the value of "decent game account". this value is totally subjective and thus can vanish completely in a whim with just a tiny shift in perspective. being able to move on, as opposed to remain captive because of some sunken cost fallacy is actually a healthy instinct.

I've moved on from more games than I care to remember and don't have any problem with letting go of them when the time comes. It just seemed somewhat odd for the trigger here to be not getting a paintjob or lasers via a twitch drop that you can buy with free arx anyway, especially when OP seems mad enough to invoke trading standards whilst presumably missing the fact that he was watching a recorded stream.

The amusing part is that sunk cost fallacy would only apply here in terms of the time he spent watching the stream anyway.

Shame really, with over 500 million saved and the best ship in the game fully upgraded. Ah well. The question is whether to refer this as a breach of trading standards as you cannot make an offer in this Country and then break it because you simply cannot be bothered.

You spent 3 hours on twitch in attempt to get like 10$ worth of “free” stuff.

if it’s that important to you just buy them or earn them in game by playing.

what were you hoping to accomplish with this post?

I fail to see where you've been "Ripped Off" by Frontier.
You purchased the game, you played the game. Where's the rip off?
