Parks Rose Lake Park - The Life of a Trolley Park

Wagi, JPAlmighT, Wolf Tenor, Bullethead, BeyondDrewTV, citytrader, and I, in conjunction with the Plancovania Historical Society, proudly announce the release of Map One of Rose Lake Park, which represents the years in the park's history leading up through the end of 1899. The project will be presented in multiple map releases, each covering a decade of the park's life from its origin in the late 1890s through the present.

Rose Lake Park, 1890 - 1899 (map 1). Created by: Fisherman, Wagi, JPAlmighT, Wolf Tenor, Bullethead, BeyondDrewTV, and citytrader.

This park map represents the beginning of a new journey chronicling the life of Rose Lake Park from its humble beginnings as a picnic grove at the end of a trolley line near Peepsburgh in the heart of Plancovania, to the world renown destination amusement park it is today. We hope you will come along on the journey with us!

So far, the park requires three billboard images and eight custom sound effects tracks for the map to run correctly. Please download them from our Google Drive. Place the contents of the file "RLP 1890-1899 User Media.zip" into your User Media folder and place the contents of "RLP 1890-1899 User Music.zip" into your User Music folder BEFORE opening Planet Coaster to ensure that everything works correctly (you should hear sounds all around the park, especially around the lakes and the hotel):

We have and will be using many blueprints and TMTK items throughout this project and we wish to acknowledge the wonderful content designers for their work. We will be adding links to their work to collections which will continually update here:

Rose Lake Park TMTK items: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1955773510

We strongly suggest that you allow the game to download the required toolkit items for you upon loading the park.

Also, the park has a hilarious, and often sordid, history. So, if you are a park history buff and have a junior high sense of humor, follow along at the Plancovania Historical Society's Blog page for the park here: https://roselakepark.blogspot.com/

Wasn't expecting to watch all 47mins of that but I really enjoyed it, such a beautiful, well thought out park and I LOVE the trolley, any plans to make it available as a blueprint?

I know it would probably kill the frame rate on any park I put it in but it's beautiful - as is the whole of this park, great work by everyone involved!

Okay, guys...you're in for a special quarantine double-whammy surprise! Both map 2 and Episode 2 are BOTH now available!!

No dark rides? Or are they coming in future versions? Pretzel started making dark rides in the 1920’s or 30’s, they lasted to 1979, and Traver made dark rides in the 20’s-40’s as well, and Bill Tracy started in the late 50’s, he passed away Aug 1974, his company continued for several more years and was bought out by Jim Melonic who worked with Tracy. He calls it JMM Studios now and he has done recent projects like Black Diamond at Knoebel’s which was previously the Golden Nugget Mine Ride on Hunt’s Pier and Dinosaur Beach in Wildwood, NJ. It was closed in 1992, 1995, and fall 1998 to Jan 2009 then the building shell was razed. Props were retained by the Morey’s and some went to the historical museum and some things like the mine shaft signs went to collectors.
