I would like to be able to plot a long range course taking into account also the fact that I could use n fsd boosts
This is an excellent suggestion:
I too want an otter copilot to plot my routes![]()

It can already do this?
Look on left panel in your galaxy map.
Second tab, route.
You can adjust it accordingly.

I shall call mine Harry Otter.
Presumably with a silent aitch!
That only allows neutron boosts to be part of the plotted route, FSD boosts as in Jumponium still have to be done individually.
And right below that is the boost?
Having not used it for ages, it might entirely be it only paths first jump, which well is because the stuff is consumable? but the moment you use them it will reflect?
No, you can't use the route plotter at all with Jumponium, you have to individually select the star you want to jump to, also you can only synthesise one jumponium load at a time, so once you have jumped you have to go into synthesis and make more jumponium for the next jump. If you try to synthesis two the first jumponium load will vanish and you will only have one. I suspect this is where the inability to use the route plotter comes from. It would indeed be nice to be able to store synthesised jumponium and have the route plotter use a stack until it runs out, but it can't.
