Salland's Adventure Zoo

In this update, I have placed fencing around the construction site. Here, I have also installed construction lights and security cameras. To transport goods to the foundation construction site, I have placed a small movable goods lift.

I have added some more details to the construction site. Here, I have placed some crates and several construction vehicles. The newest vehicle that you haven't seen yet is the forklift.

To show that the apartment complex consists of modules, there is a Transport frame here on the construction site where several modules can be seen.

These almost make me want to remake all my Planet Coaster construction vehicles in Planet Zoo, (shudders at the thought) ;)

Seriously, this is all looking great. I love all the little details you've been throwing into this project. We all talk about immersion in theme park design. You've taken this to the next level. I'm sure that when the zoo starts to take shape, with the amazing setting you've already created, the immersion and feeling of realism will be off the scale.

That is definitely a good idea to recreate the Planet Coaster construction vehicles in Planet Zoo and then again in PlanCo 2 ;):ROFLMAO:. Now I have to do that myself in PlanCo 2. Hopefully, there will be enough small pieces in the base game.

I indeed wanted to show that what starts outside the zoo or theme park is also very important. Infrastructure and buildings that adapt are crucial, not to mention the fact that the view from the park will look different as well. And the small details are just as important as the big objects in my opinion.

The only downside, but also a very positive change, is that Planco 2 is coming out. So I am afraid that if it plays as smoothly as Planet Zoo, I will spend less time on Planet Zoo. Because I personally prefer going to a theme park over a zoo in real life.

I have now completed the construction site project. I changed the colors of the construction trailers and containers to differentiate between the materials belonging to the construction company and the rented materials. The loader is leveling the ground and gathering the remaining sand. The highlight of this project is definitely the crane. At the moment, the crane is placing a prefab module.

The intersection near the gas station is now fully planted with trees and shrubs. I have also clad the retaining wall with brick. The park's logo has also been installed. The speed limit on this road changes from 50 km per hour (asphalt) to 30 km per hour (cobblestones) at the intersection near the gas station.

The square in front of the zoo entrance is the next project I will be working on. The current layout of this square can already be seen. The building with the rounded shapes will become a restaurant, the large block will become a museum, and next to the museum will be the entrance to the zoo.

Here, I will show the different phases of the construction of the front loader. In this phase, I am showcasing the driving section. The tires of the front loader will later be replaced by the tractor tires that were introduced in the last DLC.

The next step is the further detailing of the front loader. The cab has been installed, along with steps and the details around the engine. The next update will focus on the arm and the bucket of the front loader.

For the detailing of the restaurant’s exterior, I have added details such as ventilation and solar panels. The ventilation and/or exhaust of the tunnel is also integrated into the restaurant and can be found at the back of the building.

The exterior of the restaurant is now completed, so I’m starting on the interior. The walls have been finished, both in the restaurant and in the kitchen. I’ve also created a separate space, where the wall has not yet been painted in the right color because at this moment, I’m still unsure how I’m going to decorate it.

The restaurant has now installed various kitchen appliances to enhance the detail and functionality of the kitchen. The refrigerated units for food presentation, where guests can serve themselves, have been set up, along with the cash register. The tables have also been placed, although it is not yet clear whether this arrangement is final or just a temporary setup.
