FC owners are still a sleep...
Yeah now I'm thinking that fast jump from 80-90% was the FC owners coming home, because compared to about 24-36 hours ago the last few thousand are really crawling now. Still pretty sure it'll hit tier 5 before the end.

This game was always a bit of a bug fest, but it turned into that scene of Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom.

After a few relogsky tries I managed to sign the CG. I went to the Trapezium Sector system and only after a few more relogskies I managed to get the Guardian Structures to show up.
Landed near the structure, but now my SRV doesnt fire its lasers. Keys are mapped, I checked, combat mode on, pips to weapons and far from the ship. It's like weapons dont exist on my SRV.
Maybe a few more relogskies...
You probably need to move farther from your ship if you can’t use your weapons.

Its over....
No more needed
If the other was a rival event Both will be ending not just this CG..

It takes about 1 hour till you can get paid so that won't happen yet...
Single phantom load was enough to qualify for the weapon bonus arriving Friday..

This was honestly quite impressive. This may be the sharpest loss we've ever seen in a competitive CG.

Can I say again that I think CGs need to have shared tier rewards? Once it became apparent nobody was going to do the Aegis one, nobody else COULD join it, because nobody was doing it, creating a self-reinforcing cycle of nobody doing anything.

If you could have joined that one and gotten the full tier 5 top 10 reward, you might have seen a lot more people doing it. Heck, you could have gotten into the top 10 for a mere 200 tons! That's basically equal to top 75% on the other side!

I dunno... the way people go on about "the grind" Aegis reducing that seems like a logical choice.

Unless the grind actually isn't that bad :sneaky:
If it were to be a permanent reduction it might be worth more, but right now lots of people are having a hard time just playing the game at all, so a permanent module is a far more tantalizing reward.

Not to mention the fact that, in the time it takes you to meaningfully push this Community goal, you could easily unlock it yourself instead. With far less travel time besides.

Cool, so confirmed, the grind isn't that bad :D

Some using more than a brain cell could, simply, put an alternate reward for other CG - same module but with a different upgrade, or something different.... a different weapon, etc.
That means this could have been a race with 2 horses, instead of 99,99 % of community pushing hard just one way.... this was NOT a competition, this is obvious...
Why they even bother to put 2 sides, lol...

It not any more but when the blueprints were 10 blueprints per Guardian item unlock, it was way worse, way better blue prints are only 1 required per guardian item unlock... and thats was 10 per size unlocked not just 10 for every gauss cannon unlocked but each size...

I'm not surprised this went how it did. On one side we have a guardian module discount, useful to people who haven't done it already. On the other we have an engineered version of a guardian weapon when you can't engineer guardian weapons at all normally.

Hmm... what to pick.

Yeah... whoever thought multiple blueprints for a single unlock was a good idea.... ungh.

Tell me how dopey I am. I loaded up 56 items tuned them in went to bed and was at 75%. Woke up and I was at 100% suppose this means I do not get the guns right?

Guestimate was Top 75% ~ 59 to 95 so yes if the in game total has kicked you into 100% tier then you dont get the unlock...

I'm surprised, at least by how lopsided the result was. Unbalanced results aren't too rare, but it's very uncommon indeed for one side of a CG to not even reach tier 1. And if the Aegis side had managed to reach that first tier, the outcome would probably have drifted less lopsided towards the end, because people who already guaranteed themselves a big payout on the Salvation side would have been able to make a little extra with a modest sized delivery to the competition. But by not making the first tier cut off, there's no reward at all for delivering to Aegis.
