Say goodbye to Anarchies

Right. If someone (consoles mainly) won't have Odyssey, then it's really hard to counter with those, which have Odyssey.

Our unique missions also won't encourage them to complete, because their BGS effect is same as most missions. We need serious changes. Otherwise no one will be work for anarchies. In Horizons was already have hard time. Now in Odyssey is almost impossible to keep especially security at highest level.

uh...because its not criminal
and if you aren't getting 20 to 40 mil profit per cutter load, then you are not doing the same thing as I am.
And my anarchy faction loved it.
I... think we might be talking about two different things. Or are you arguing that Anarchy =/= criminal and hence should not profit from BM trade? Yeah I could agree with you here if the factions would behave that way. However in E : D an Anarchy faction is criminal. Always. I do not like it and would have certainly designed it different but that's the way it is so they should, again, benefit from BM trade.

And yes, you can get bounties for Anarchy factions. It is, however, considerably more time consuming than having access to a Haz or compromised beacon.

Its a shame anarchy factions don't have the same missions to attack nearby systems, but with double the return.

But yes, FD banging in those nails.
they somehow have, but for weird reasons it's harder in ed to shoot 20 traders, than 20 pirates.

what would be interesting: if anarchy factions would give out "commissions" for combat next door. might be a suggestion (basically fighting in faction x conflictzones next door for even better pay than faction x own missioms or similar)

Something changed with Odyssee
Anarchy systems sell illegal device like automatic unlockers, buy Odessey illegal goods like drugs. And well, guess doing ground stuff and failing it should not put bounty on u. So i'm gona to stick to anarchy for some time to farm mats and get rid of fines/bounties.
Does it help?

not if you fail a lot of those missions (which comes with odyssee). if someone looks at shin dez dark wheel influence - thats what happens if a lot of players fail missions.

I don't know how to answer that..don't know what a vote anywhere would do..
what I wanted to tell people was what was asked. its not a secret, if it is it should not be, but having never seen how to anywhere, this is what I just told the only person that asked a few minutes ago.

I get bounties from interdictions from missions
the usual source and deliver often will get you interdictions, but not always.
however, mining mission garauntee interdictions anywhere from 5 to 10 per mission
I take the mining missions from anywhere in or near the system I need the bounties for.
After I get 3 or more, I fly around to all the nearby systems where any of the mining things might be either in a market or in a ring to mine.
You will get the lovely big blue letters top right screen telling you that mining mission has been updated, that is your trigger to that mission.
once I have at least a couple of the mining missions triggered, I go back to the anarchy system and just wait for them to interdict me, use a kill warrant also, in order to get bounties for any factions this guys has. but even without the kill warrant, you will now get a bounty from killing a wanted ship in an anarchy system
kill warrant is NOT required, just gets you extra factions bounties.
you can also get bounties for any faction if they own a station, by staying within 1mm of said station in sc attracting interdictors
I Hope this helps.

fwiw, these interdictors have even followed me out to the shard gardens...you can take them anywhere you need them to be killed.

So is there an issue created we can vote on?

(My mom lives in Hecate and I would not like for her business to be destroyed?)
It ain't a bug so I doubt it. More like another ill though out change that makes a government type obsolete.

I doubt Live Hecate Sea Worms will become illegal no mater who controls the system, so don't worry about your mom. She'll just have less pirates and smugglers among her customers.

this by the way should also indicate to you, that not all anarchists are criminal, because this is an anarchy faction paying you to kill an actual criminal, often from this same faction.
and I can only say that till they fix the incorrect equations and incomplete equations in their OD code, yes OD is making it impossible. OD is in fact destroying horizons every second they are connected.
my info is for horizons and works well in horizons.

In some of those remote systems where there are only 2 factions, one of which is anarchy, when you visit the missions board you used to find lots of missions for the controlling faction and a big fat zero for the anarchy faction. When it was reported, Fdev said it was working as intended. Go figure.

That is why it is called the issue tracker and not the bug tracker. This might be a unintended change caused by new BGS levers.
I have next to no knowledge on BGS so I would not know what to report to fdev

(You really think they come for the Baked Seaworms?)

Good point. I'd rather not create a ticket since I don't own Odyssee nor am I interested in buying it in the near future. Not sure if it would change anything but it might be worth a try.

I think the issue might be the on foot massacre missions. You get to shoot dudes and loot their settlements afterwards. Very tempting. But one has to think for the long term. If anarchies are gone, who's going to sell me E-breaches and buy the drugs I found?

I have/had a system like that. its actually my #1 hunting ground thanks to the very nice haz res there.
and I have been telling people for years, if there are no missions...they are bored, no visitors..come back later..
do just that, come back with something for them.
I the short time I have been here tonite I have made indications that factions remember you, they know you well. and they learn patterns too.
also, in a station they are copy cat competitive.
if you want donate missions for rank for example and no one has any, donate something else to get it started.
it usually takes about an hour and then they all are taking turns asking for donations.
I ranked up 2 cmdrs doing nothing but this. fast and easy.

sry, the point was, do something for them, get their attention. it works.
