here is a question regarding Dr Who, though there is no reason why the doctor cant be black or a worman or even both, but in the 50 years of doctor who he has always been a White male, do you think its time to change this or do you think that the formula works fine as it is.
I imagine that the true fan base of the Doctor wouldnt like to mess with what is considered standard practice.
Race should be irrelevant, I can see some might object to a female Dr, but personally I don't have a problem with the idea.
so a few more ideas...
In both Tennant's and Smith's regeneration, the Dr was disappointed not to be ginger, so how about Damian Lewis
Thinking of black British actors some that come to mind are Idris Elba
Adrian Lester
Colin Salmon
Don Warrington
or Lenny Henry... yes he does do serious acting and has even played the Dr in
a sketch
As for female actors, the list is huge, so I'll just give a single suggestion
