You are right, that one would make more sense then, becuse it is a very small beacon
In real life I would ask the captain of thin capital ship to turn it 90 degrees right, then I could take a photo of it from closer distance (but damage still visible) with the whole station in the background an out of focus
Simply I just like to blur things it seems.

IIRC, there's a bunch of settlements in that system, the nearest being pretty damp close! Will try and check my logs for the system...

'The SRV scanner says it's just over this crest... Oh damn, that's... unfortunate. It's gonna take ages to drive round the other side too. Screw it, please fasten your seatbelt and extinguish all cigarettes. Oh and if you have any Lavian brandy and a pro forma will, this may be the time. What? Yes of course I'm a licenced tour operator.'

'The autopilot gets kinda screwy in canyons, last time it planted my Anaconda nose down into a crater at around 600 m/s. Think we'd better drive out. Yeah I know it's steep buddy, I have eyes. We'll just need to zig zag a bit'

(Incidentally the last two pictures aren't staged, I really did drive out of that canyon by going up the wall. It took about 40 minutes and I had to go across the face for about 500m near the top to find a gradient I could reverse up, which is when the second to last picture was taken. It was a 0.05G world and I still just couldn't get any traction at all, the thing was damn near vertical.)

I am on my way from the Bubble (The Bubble Nebula that is) to Colonia. I had to stop at one of my favorite ports the Sacaqawea Space Port.
