Man if you go into any kind of sim for the first time and don't look at the controls first and use a little bit of common sense, you shouldn't be playing it.

In aviation, you have to be type-rated on a new aircraft. Elite needs that, as it simulates dying very well...

I think I'd be into the ARX thing more, if this patch didn't have this many issues. I bought a little, but held back because wouldn't that be supporting this broken patch? Not a lot of talk about fixing things, it seems. I wonder how close they were to messing the whole thing up. Remember to save a backup, FDev, before making changes, please.

• Increased the spawn rate of High Grade Emissions
• Increased the spawn rate for Non-Human Signal Sources

So...
I like... STILL... can't find either of these.
Specifically been looking for High Grade so I can finally finish engineering some of my ships, and I've been through a dozen high population systems both Fed and Alliance, each in a Boom economy... and all I ever find are Zero Emission ones, or Conveys...
...am I doing something wrong looking for these?

I like... STILL... can't find either of these.
Specifically been looking for High Grade so I can finally finish engineering some of my ships, and I've been through a dozen high population systems both Fed and Alliance, each in a Boom economy... and all I ever find are Zero Emission ones, or Conveys...
...am I doing something wrong looking for these?

Ok I just found one in Asellus Primus, and it had several items I've been looking for.
However Asellus Primus is low population, and not experiencing a Boom; and not governed by Fed, All,or Imp... its Pilots Fed.

If you've experienced the Black Adder crash since it was reportedly fixed, please feel free to confirm the Issue Tracker ticket I raise regarding it, and add any additional details you can.

Issue Ticket: Black Adder error still occurred despite it having been reportedly fixed.

Every little bit helps to get Elite back on track.

Has anyone considered the "Black Adder" / "Red Krait" crash errors have such obvious and reportable names they may be a deliberate conditional test inserted by FDev to collect player behaviour data for something, fishy? Maybe they wanted to know how many of us are trying to mine for the fleet carriers?

Could be they're still trying to estimate a 'reasonable' FC price that won't enrage the forums?

I've always went to systems of high populations in war or civil war.
