Would have been nice if they had let us know in-game (and in a way we don't have to search for it)that this was due today - for those of us who prefer to play rather than hang out in the forums. If they can let us know via the countdown of the last hour with in-game messages then surely they can let us know for the 24 hours prior, say once an hour, when it's going to mean no play for so many hours. Would never have taken on the job.

I learned years ago, while in the black exploring, FD migrated the servers at an upgrade & it borked. I had to stop exploring for a couple of days until it was fixed, then re-explore a couple of day's systems again that appeared to have got 'lost' in the upgrade.

I never ever have anything ongoing at an update now, I always park up at a Station......& wait:sleep:

IT Admin: These are the always available, network attached storage, cloud backup devices. They only cost $10,000 per year.
Developers: I nipped to RadioShack, got a NAS and 10 disks for $200. Where do I plug it in?

Damn, 25000 ly to Sol ..20k or so to Colonia ... no stations :(
