I'm going to switch to Star Citizen where they appreciate there players time!!!

Why would they appreciate There players' time? I thought that particular abomination had closed down years ago anyway and all their players assimilated by the Second Life collective.

Thanks Frontier Developments for making miss out on 20 million credits & me being able to get the Krait Phantom because of your update or whatever that BROKE the game. Now 6 hours of my life is now gone! I'm going to switch to Star Citizen where they appreciate there players time!!!

Chances are this is an Amazon issue, not Fdev. Elite isn't the only service having issues. Back in, btw.

Given that Facebook started having issues with content time-outs at about the same time as the ED servers went belly-up (and the server failure seemed to get worse over a few minutes before total failure) it would suggest a possible DDoS against the Amazon cloud service.

I was starting to think something similar, but then, brexit has made me a bit paranoid.
