I have to wonder if the increased bandwidth traffic of adding the codex and chat channels has put too much strain on their servers? The chat channels have been largely unstable since release, and this server down stuff keeps happening.

Wonder how long we have to play until the next outage?

Anyone else having the game freeze on them? As in the graphics freeze, but the sounds keep playing. I can alt-tab out to other programs - at first, it still keeps ED in the foreground, then it switches. Once it switches to another app, I can switch back and them is humming along right where I left off. This started this morning and then shortly there after, kicked out by server (at same time others reported).

Now it's doing the freeze/unfreeze thing again here and there. Really unnerving.

Many times. Can't find a common cause. Today I was just changing key binds and it did it twice while I'm just sitting there in game. It is long enough you think the computer has crashed but everything else works fine.
When I turn on the CPU monitor, it doesn't happen. Not saying the monitor makes it not happen, just that I haven't had the event occur when trying to see what is going on.
