Iam getting mass amount of not able to connect to matchmaking server chrashes

both ingame and when i try to start.
Considering to play solo for the first time.

This is poor, my one occasion to get some decent game time and it keep crashing.

Keeps kicking me out with that message. I try to reconnect, it often times out. When I get in, I can briefly fly around, then get kicked off again with the same message. Definitely something up.

That's as may be, but global-scale, distributed, high availability server/service provision is... Quite Hard.

And Frontier's stuff might be 100% perfect, but if the service provider underneath has a wobble, or a bit of wet string starts dropping traffic... it all gets amusing.

Not subscription, but required to be continually connected by design. FD's architecture cannot guarantee that service unfortunately.

Give them some time chaps please.
They have to run around and turn ON and OFF hundreds of servers, or just resort to my Big hammer Procedure........which is sure to at least eradicate some small Galaxies from the map forever, so maybe not the best idea then...........Time for tea and a biscuit me thinks.....chow.

Thanks for the update Edward, as some others have mentioned the server status is showing OK, something else to take a look at when they get a chance.

Wish you the best getting it sorted, which is pure selfishness , as I hope to play for a bit after my dinner.

Glad its not just me then, several disconnects and horrid jump times.
Just past the 4000ly mark on the way to Sag A.
Things seem to be much better now, found a scoopable star after 3 jumps ;-)
