Looking forward to more information about this ship. I already have two ZP explorers: a Hauler, which I find a fantastic exobiology ship, and a Mamba. Why the Mamba? Just because, I was inspired by a thread on this forum and tried it. It's a beautiful ship, however in terms of exploration it is basically a glorified Hauler, with the complication that it offers a miserable landing experience, comparable to that of the Phantom and other ships of that size.
I don't think the cockpit of the Mamba is the best for exploration (or rather, for exobiology), since it's only looking up. Nothing beats Lakon (or even the Kraits) for field of view.
On the other hand, I find the cockpit of the Mamba (and therefore that of the Mandalay, I guess) to be one of the best, if not the best looking one.
The one thing that gives me hope, however, is that it appears to have a very small landing footprint, as the ship's volume appears to be distributed vertically (they pointed out in the stream how tall it is - but still not as tall a the T7

).
I hope it has internals comparable to an AspX (and not to a Mamba). Jump range would be the icing, but it's not what I look for as the primary feature.
