I guess they're limited a bit by making it look like a plane.
The survey kit is better imo.
Yeah... I like the antennas, but where's my dish and all?! I would have loved this as a shipkit with more stuff to attach instead of bundling it with paintjobs I don't need. Hmmm.

Personally, I think it'd be more palatable if FDev just released a generic "greebles" pack and then updated the UI so we could scale/rotate/position them manually on any ship.
Obviously, FDev are entitled to try and earn money from this stuff but I suspect more people would end up buying more stuff if they could buy a "hose pack", "antenna pack", "sensor pack", "armor pack" etc and then attach the parts to any ship.

I thought the same. Still think the Survey Kit on the DBX looks better though.
Oh wait i didn't notice those, not as good as the satellite dish of doom but i may take another look.

For me, the best detail ever is a "Space Traders Flight Training Manual" and a thermos in a Sidewinder.
Just sharing a little love for the Mandalay. Such a beauty and an amazing exobio ship! You can land quickly just about anywhere.
I stick with Seeker steel, but you may actually like the paintjobs coming with the new shipkit. It has a red version and a brownish one, reminding me of a 70s look somehow.
I love that seventies look and know exactly what you mean. Browns/oranges gold. So tacky it's awesome. I will have a look at them in game i think.

Also, I was mistaken. There is no red painjob in the pack. It's blue, purple and that 70s one. I mean, that one is basically red, but see for yourself:
This one comes with that Quest Pack. I can also recommend the shipkit. It's awesome, but very badly presented on the browser store.
