Another attacked megaship in Pleiades Sector IH-V C2-5 and some screenshots for the one in Pleiades Sector IR-W D1-55.

I've got to run for a train but I'll update the Gnosis location when I get to work. As for an art pass on the station graphics, this is certainly a good place to bring your screenshots if you spot anything.

P.S. Squirrels Nest is frickin awesome!

is the gnosis the only megaship that moves, or did they all start moving?

All mega-ships can theoretically move (that was stated by FD when they were first introduced and the Gnosis was but a twinkle in Canonn's eye) but currently only the Gnosis has moved. This is nothing new ... Jaques station used to move (with people docking on Wednesday night in one place and logging in on Thursday to find themselves somewhere else).

ED Locations Sheet updated

Hello Commanders,

Thanks for the updates everyone! The Location sheet has been updated to match all these entries - 142 in total now ;).

I've found the LY to Sol for most and listed any where LY to Sol is missing. If people could provide these when they submit the locations, it makes it easier for other Commanders to plan trips to visit all these interesting places:D.

The spreadsheets purpose is to give an easy to use view of all locations. As I mentioned in previous comments, it allows you to take a copy, then use the filters to find other locations in the general proximity and easily easily plan a trip E.G LY to Sol being 300-600LY and go and visit all the Settlements and/or go over to all the places around the Pleiades without missing anything :D

It's pretty easy to calculate, let me show: [edsm]Grabrigpa[/edsm]

As Sol has the coordinates 0 / 0 /0 you can just use the coordinates from the target system (get it from EDSM), square x, y, z and take the square root of the sum: sqrt(x²+y²+z²)

sqrt((-26.0625)² + (0.375)² + (89.25)²) = sqrt(679.25390625 + 0.140625 + 7965.5625) = sqrt(8644.95703125) ~ 92.978ly

So the distance of Grabrigpa to Sol is around 93ly.

Nice - added (can we get some screenshots?).

Also - has anyone seen any Space Dredgers since 2.4 went live? Could do with getting a few more of those on the list.

Update: went looking for some of the old space dredgers from early 2.4 beta this morning, couldn't find any. I did find some evidence in the forum that they were removed in later versions of the beta, can anyone confirm?

Also, if anyone has evidence of the installation in Merope that optimal_909 is talking about (assuming it's actually an installation and not just a normal base or station) then could they let me know.

The Dredgers were indeed removed shortly after being found in the Beta.

Almost as though it was a mistake to include them in the first place.

I think Josh Hawkins channel had a video where he expressed his dismay at being un able to visit one due to this.

Found a Megaship in the Pandemonium system. Some kind of bulk carrier - not dockable. But it did have a log beacon. When I scanned it it gave me an itinerary of 6 or seven systems including Pandemonium with a * beside it.

Is this a thing now?

At work right now. I have not checked back to see if it is jumping and how often.

Intriguing. Assuming this isn't the Gnosis (can you get some screenshots of it?) then it sounds like we have another megaship that has an itinerary of system jumps planned. As soon as I have a name for it I can check my list to see if it's an old ship that's moved or a new one.
