Ship docks, CQC structures and other new in-game assets

Dixon Dock is at lat -26.08, long -130.82 not vice versa! No I didn't just spend twenty minutes trying to find it before it dawned on me that latitude goes between +/- 90 so it couldn't possibly have been -130...

Thanks Alec for starting this tnread. I was begining to become frustrated looking for ANY new in-game assets.
Bookmarked!

Do some of these new structures act like space stations, or are they only a "super nav beacon" to spawn NPCs around?
Does any mission type involve them?

My understand is that currently they're simply sights to look at and fly around (i.e. you can't actually dock at or interact with them). They do however spawn NPC's and thus might be good places to go bounty hunting.

The problem with latitude and longitude in game at the moment is on xbox they are the wrong way round so you need to know the source.
Im currently parked in the installation in Ngalkin and it is so much fun to zip around in my slf I recommend trying it.
Thanks op this thread is just what I needed.

Edit just for clarification I've visited three installations so far and they all spawned ships just like at a nav beacon .

Another addition, secondhand as yet: Massive science facility around San Tu 4C.
I'll head out there and post a screenshot for verification later.

Oh and another Imperial dock in Malaikudi in the same instance as Leopold Heckmann Ring.

I can confirm that the scientific installation at San Tu 4C is awesome. I've just spent over an hour and a half buzzing through and around its tunnels and structures in my 600m/s Imperial Courier in VR ... just WOW. Lost a couple of ships but well worth it. I can also confirm, thanks to some terrific flying by Cmdr Burias, that the Federal Corvette can fit through some of the CQC tunnels - NOT what I expected to see coming the other way

Another find by our friend isokix (I'm now convinced he doesn't sleep): http://isokix.space/exploration-camp-c-no4/
LOL - added, thanks.

Is it a copy/paste of the other installations or different?
Can't really comment, it's the only one I've visited so far. It's like 4 big CQC structures all floating right up against each other but not physically connected. Lots of tunnels, lots of advertising hoardings, lots of NPC ships flying around. Looks like a brilliant fun place to bounty hunt. One word of warning, kill your speed when your drop out of supercruise because it drops you right in amongst the buildings.

Hehe, "Will it fit?' You know I was having a blast! When you told me you were using VR I felt bad asking you questions, because I heard it's hard to type with a headset. Especially when you, kinda, well, blew up at 600 m/s :)
