Dinosauria volume 2 arriving on friday, next update for prehistoric kingdom next month and new Jurassic world movie on july, man what a time to be alive.

So how ya been @DarthQuell ? How's business, how's ya pops, how are the animals? Got any good new tunes to share?
Well, just working to keep positive, you know? Family is good, animals are healthy. We have a baby budgie that was born bad; his legs are messed up. A squirrel opened the cage and the mama flew out, so we had to raise the little guy like almost as soon as he hatched. We didn't think he'd make it, but he did. He can't fly or walk, so we prepared the cage in a way where he can get around, food and water.

I started to grow a beard. This Saturday will be week 4. And I finished my 1st novel; not.published publicly yet, but I plan to

That all sounds epic and fulfilling , congrats on the Beard! The Book! And the Budgie rescue!

Tings is good, just got back from a trip to Ireland for a friend's wedding and went to see the Giant's Causeway which was so cool, and some Game of Thrones filming locations ha

Off to Paris next month and finally visiting family in California in May :)

Loving Billie Eilish's last album and discovered a 60s hippy songwriter called JJ Cale who I should have been dancing to my whole life :)

Anyways, what's new with y'all?
I don't remember if I told you all if I resigned from my teaching job before Christmas Break. Now I'm back to substituting. I also met a girl on a dating app. She lives about three hours away, but we hit it off really well. I'm willing to make it work.

I also plan on going back to grad school for a degree in accounting. That might boost my job opportunities considering that it's more skill-based.

Unfortunately, my dad has cancer again: mild lymphoma on the spleen. I've been driving him to his treatments every Thursday. It's not radiation chemo; it's given through an IV. The good news is that his spleen has mostly gone back down to normal size, but the doctor wants to give him four more treatments to be sure and then get him tested again. Please pray for him if you feel inclined to do so.

Hopefully it does work out, Mr. Wizard

Snap, that's tough. Hopefully he recovers soon.
Maybe you can find someone to help with that. Do people do that thing for a living?
I know a few people that published books, so I could ask them...
I'm in Montana 😎
The Montana Badlands digging up fossils?

With my monitor getting bigger by the day and me seeing some breeding action from both my knobtail and chameleon gecko pairs as spring sets in i wanted to get more serious into breeding my own feeder insects. So a couple weeks ago i set up a naturalistic bin enclosure for a colony of dubia roaces, because even tho they are feeder insects i still wanted them to have a nice enclosure where they can exhibit their natural behaviours and live a good life.

So i took a large bin, filled it with a mix of moss, organic soil and coco fibers and threw in a bunch of spare hardscape from my terrarium in form of grape vines and kork bark.
Also added isopods and springtails to keep things clean, aswell as a giant miliped because they are cool af.
To make use of all the nutrients in the soil i want to also add some plants, although im not sure if they are gonna survive. So maybe the smarter thing to do would be to throw in some lentils that then can sprout and provide some healthy food for them, bonus points because i can harvest some for my skink aswell.
