Sign of things to come? Rampant PK'er/exploiter finds himself exiled

This is unacceptable from Frontier. Its a game, why cant someone play it as they want, he didnt cheat, he wanted to take on the role of a psycho killer and kill everyone and everything. Whats wrong with that, we get encouraged to use our imaginations but when we do, if it doesnt fit their regime we get banned or suspended? This is just another nail in the coffin. What a joke. This game has 400 BILLION stars, if people dont want to be griefed they can FLY AWAY to another area and the chances of meeting another griefer ar TINY. I just cant understand what FD are even trying here; theyre saying BLAZE YOUR OWN TRAIL - but dont upset anyone or we will ban you! Im quickly becoming tired of this and every day i log in here, read some of the new threads and it just makes me want to hang up my flight stick and walk away. If things keep going like this i might just do that..... Im just shocked, i really am.....

I really do suggest that you read the thread - in particular FD's responses in this thread and the comments copied from Reddit.
Then come back and re-think your post, which shows that you haven't already done those things.

I personally think there is good in this commanders message even though he has been exiled - when comparing to RL and having a balanced perspective on games...bon voyage cmdr!

If that's your attitude then the community would be better off without you and people like you. His actions aren't the issue here, most dont find fault with him killing in stations. Its the verbal abuse and repeated use of exploits that are the issue here.

Ok so i didnt read the 30 pages of replys, so what. I read the OP's post and replied to it. I dont agree with verbal abuse of players, thats not cricket, but I do think he should have been allowed to play the game as he wanted, as long as he didnt cheat. Its not like the real world doesnt have any crazed psycho killers, so why wouldnt deep space in 3300? Anyway, if he wasnt banned for the way he played the game but rather the abusive messaging etc then fair enough. But if he was banned for being a Psycho Griefer then i dont agree, BLAZE your OWN Trail!!!!!!!!

You didn't read the thread, have a poor grasp of the argument and your embarrassing yourself, if your fine wth that then all well and good. I for one will be blocking you though.

The argument of comparing RL psychos to in-game ones is loose at best.

RL psychos have to be a lot more careful and secretive. They know what they are doing is considered unacceptable so they do as much as they can to hide it. Also, they have to deal with RL, PERMANENT, consequences.

In a game, there are no real consequences for acting a like a nutjob and murdering passersby. Therefore, the frequency of psychohood far outnumbers what is seen in RL. So, a subjective line must be drawn. Fine, go be a nutjob, but as soon as you exploit the game to kill people, just like folks got slapped on the hand for money exploits, you will be punished.

This thread has gone far enough of the original premise. The last 3 or 4 pages are only speculation about somones mental and pschological make up, and personal tiffs.
