Since we didn't get any carriers, we're in need of some motorcycles...

As a rider I should be all for this... but those look rubbish. If E: D did glean to provide us with two wheeled rides I'd hope they'd be more like space-ified versions of Dakar bikes. Read; faster, lighter, and more nimble than an SRV. Something you could use to turn a canyon into a skate park.
They will probably be more like the ones from the original Battlestar Galactica or maybe Deathsport.

Riding a bike on a low-G moon is all fun and games until you hit a pebble.

Yeah, I didn't particularly want those in the picture...
They just happened to be sci-fied over to some degree.

And at this point, I'm not that picky anymore 😖

Or is it disappointing that, after all these years, you're more interested in a new SRV rather than new things to do with the one you have?

This is one of many things that players want. If Frontier releases more SRVs then they can sell more cosmetics. It's a win-win situation.

Its even worse when you think we are the only ones who drive on a planet. Thousands of millions of people on the universe but less than 0,001% drive ground vehicles, and they use the same vehicle.

Yeah, I'd love to see NPCs walk around and drive SRVs on planets.

First, yes, I'd like more SRVs - really - but...

How is it a win-win to get a new SRV (and cosmetics) if everything I can do with said 'new' SRV is the same as old SRV? That's like saying what Elite needs is more ships. I agree, I like ships, too. It doesn't "need" more ships.

It needs more things to do with the ships.
Then more ships make sense.
That's a win-win.
