ye the Angel Rose Faction or even the Kate Russell Faction, anyway some of the CMDR's I see are having problems with rare's if use goto this web site it will give you all the info you need (http://elitetradingtool.co.uk/) so hope this help guy's. Oh and Kate could start her army of cmdr's go into a conflict zone I don't think it would be one for long and I'll be there on the 21st Kate for the 12 hours but as you say we may need more than one group :)

hi JMC002 'm having a we think about your problem on your PC/laptop you may have another video port if you set that up it will give you duel monitors then you can set one up for Twitch and play the game on the other most Graphics cards now have 3 or more outputs now

I'm playing on a Rift. I have the Twitch stream playing on another PC so I can hear the audio. This afternoon, I doubt I'll play; I'll just watch the Twitch. Having said that, I might play for a bit. :)

Yay! I joined the right server for once! Twice, technically, but the second time was too late and I was in the wrong ship. Nice to finally take part, though. :)

Anyway, great fun tonight Kate! My recommendation for the Sidey demolition derby in the docking ring would be for everyone to sell their shield generators. That would make it the Slough Sunday Shieldless Sidey Slam.

I think Ekhi Science Orbital has palm trees - at 95.45Ly - can anyone find any closer? We could do a Sidewinder race from "docked at Slough" to Docked at .... palm trees. Then back to Slough for your normal ship.

Agreed; no shields will speed things up a bit!

Great idea! Or else, how about everybody having a single weapon, say a fixed cannon with limited ammo.

It was great fun tonight, I think a few rule tweaks would make it extra awesome :)

Thanks for the tips on hard point placement Kate, got my cobra all kitted out now. One thing that was difficult was tracking yours and other ships. Made it difficult to drop out of super cruse nearby, when the fighting started!! Maybe elite could be patched to show all friendlys in a group on radar and allow the odd bit of friendly fire?

How about us all going to a low intensity combat zone next week. Lots to shoot and we could really help each other out!! Spent a lot of time in super cruse yesterday!!!! :)

..... Oh and I only have a basic discovery scanner, does that affect tracking other ships as I kept loosing lock?

Slough Orbital hosted the galaxy's inaugural SIDEWINDER DEMOLITION DERBY last Sunday. The event will now be held on the first Sunday of every month and sees pilots flying their basic, weapons & shield-free Sidewinders at full speed around the airlock ring in attempt to blow each other up. Station Captain, Commander Rose, has expressed frustration with his troublesome daughter, Angel, who is reported to be organising these unsanctioned events. He told Galnet:

"The Jet Transport Corporation lost a lot of trade last Sunday as no ships were able to enter or leave the station for almost an hour for fear of being blasted into smithereens by these lunatic pilots."

Commander Angel Rose, however, said the event was a huge success:

"My father is a stuffy old codger. Everyone had a lot of fun and this month's derby winner was Commander Scicobalt. No-one was actually hurt, although Commander Belstarion's pride took a big dent when he got repeatedly stuck in the space station architecture and was eventually rammed to pieces by the other players. I look forward to doing it all again next month!"

In one of the upcoming broadcasts I'd like to travel to Tarach Tor perhaps with one of the council members on voice comms when we get there to explain what's been going on... what do you think? Would that be interesting for people and would someone on the council be able/happy to talk?

This is an AWESOME idea :) I might throw some canisters of explosives into the ring to spice up the next demo derby :)

CMDR Scicobolt was over the moon with his win yesterday.

I did have the unfortunate pleasure of being on the end of a "Teamspeak" session with him during the entire session. (Apologies CMDR DelBoy, you were on the end of a targeted 2 prong attack by both of us for most of the session.) Between CMDR Rose's screams over the twitch feed and his whooping and laughing it was an hour of complete chaos....

here are a couple of phrases I could understand (Between the swearing... )

"Get him get him...ooooooohhh close"
"No no no.....man that hurt"
"Left left left.......NO right !!! ... I need a gun ..I so need a big gun"
"BOOST BOOST...BOOOST........damn - no power in capacitor AGAIN"
"That CMDR is a lunatic... love it !!!"
