Excellent - looks like you had fun. Sadly I was out on Sunday and missed it all. Bigfish is not so big now.

You could also program Doris to type out your "What do you want" messages, so you can keep your hands on your flight controls.

I watched the stream after it happened, very enjoyable.
Perhaps I have read too much Raymond Chandler, but the effect of the hunting so far seems to be Angel Rose feeding her loyal followers to pirates.

As well as mass locking, I'm under the impression that sub targeting FSD once shields are down will also inhibit jumping out, assuming you can get shields down.
Gimballed beam lasers against shields and multicannons + beams against hull seem to be popular choices with pirates.
I think to make this technique work you need better kit all round, military hulls etc. The pirates you found weren't noobish at all. Maybe practice a few SC dropouts first so there's a good sized mob arriving quickly.

When 1.2 comes around you lot could be quite scary.

What were the names of the two CMDRs who attacked Kate on Sunday? I will put a team "on it". Good people.

Also, any information on last know locations etc. will help.

Also, what ships where they in?

Might be worth watching the twitch stream to see who attacked Kate. Are we putting a possy of ships together to hunt them down!!?

Also, on the 21st is it worth it for commanders joining in to send friend requests, that way we can also use elites in game comms and keep track of each other. What system will the capital ship fight be in, my viper has a very limited range!!

Enjoyed the stream on Sunday looking forward to Saturdays Marathon. I've been watching through Twitch since day 3 of Slough Bells Ringing. My PC only has a 512MB HD Radeon 4770 Graphic card so I am unsure if the game will be playable at a decent frame rate. Ram 16 GB, CPU 2.8GHz Quad Core Lynnfield. Thats 2 out of 3 of the mins specs achieved. Just how important is that extra 512MB of graphical memory?

Back in the day I played Elite II and have fond memories of flying to Tau Ceti on smuggling runs! Thats got me thinking...there should be a Easter Egg in this game to run in "Old School" wire frame mode... how cool would that be!

It will be cool to help the community, team Angel Rose, explodify stuff and run in the now infamous destruction derby in the future.

Right back to more important matters I'm off in my "Friendship" drive to see if it is indeed "All Fluffy" whilst eating Wotsits!

Nat you should consider editing those posts, see the forum rules thread about naming Cmdrs, it's not allowed and the mods will give you naughty points even though you're only trying to be helpful. PM would be a better way.

I apologise for breaking any rules. I haven't time to rewatch the entire broadcast but I hope that someone who remembers any details can "PM" them to me, so that I can pass them on. Again, sorry for any naughtiness.

I was trying out my Viper with new loadout at the Nav point in Vesper, ready for this weekends battle, all was going well, 2 multicannons and 2 class 2 pulse lasers works quite well and was shredding smaller ships in seconds, until a Federation Viper (I think) rammed me, then flew right in front of me as I fired on a pirate!! Paid fine at nearby outpost, and it says i'm not wanted now, at least I hope, how can I tell if i'm clean again? I have no bountys or fines outstanding, do I have to visit federation space to pay any bounty?

I don't know if the wanted status bug is fixed or not, but you used to have to log out and back in again for the wanted flag to properly be removed when you pay off a fine or bounty. You should be able to pay off any bounty anywhere through the Pilot's Federation contact option, so if you log in and there's nothing there then you should be ok.

thanks, my kills were not even registering, despite bounty pay out, i'll take a look later to see if the server has updated... :)
