News Sneak Peek - Europa from orbit

DB's joined the QA team to make sure the Horizons beta is going to be ready for Monday. Maybe if we're lucky there will be something alongside the newsletter this evening.

Do we know yet if we will be able to get closer to atmospheric worlds? Will we be able to orbital cruise around them or will the hard cap still remain at the Supercruise --> Orbital Cruise cut off?

Obviously FD have given a lot of love to the icy/metallic/rocky planets and I was wondering if they'd also given some TLC to the "forbidden worlds" that we'd be able to see next week.

I am seriously excited for Horizons. I've not counted "sleeps until something" since I was a lad. Fortunately(?!) as that was well over 30 years ago, the time until Monday is seemingly going much quicker!

Ok, maybe I was wrong: "From orbit down to Europa"

Don't worry, I think they took someone from Planet Coaster to fly and drive in this video.
I suspect you can do it also without all the boosting and rolling over.

Looks great!

I'm starting to regret that I didn't buy beta access... :)

I'm pretty sure you can still purchase beta access now on the store, and if you want to upgrade you can contact support and pay the difference.

I have contacted support and they have promised to refund my original purchase of the standard edition, so I could buy the beta access edition. Great service :)

I'm so ready for the beta on Monday now :D

monday is beta
Yeah.......sadly a lot of other games have misused beta name and people expect stuff to be perfect, that their progress carries over and whatnot, sad and annoying :(
