Sitting around the safety of PS4 corner doesn’t excuse us from the horrendous attack on Dove Enigma, nor are we immune the BGS implications of it.

Darnielles Progress in Maia has Meta-Alloys.

Dove Enigma at Colonia needs them.

If you’ve ever considered a run to Colonia, please, consider doing it now and shove as many Meta-Alloys as you can in the cargo racks in whatever ship you fly.
We’re part of this community. We can be part of one of the most feel good repairs this game has witnessed and we don’t have the luxury of time. This isn’t a platform issue, a Colonia issue, a game type issue or anything other than a horrible opportunity to do some good, and be involved. To come together sharing a game we all love, and right an unfathomable wrong.

I am slightly ahead of schedule as I had some stuff to take care of. It's fun meeting up with the guys and girls though.

Still plenty of time for the final way point, it is 4th February at the Dove Enigma in Colonia. If you are around message Allcrowsareblack and she can add you to the private group.

I have been back in Open out here and it's nice to see a few commanders flying around.

Well ideally you'll get here before we leave, since your goal is to "cure" the Dove Enigma before Dove himself arrives on Sunday. I'm pretty sure Stormy, Acid, myself, and the others will be here until or by Sunday evening, which is the official "arrive at Colonia" date (many of us are ahead of schedule). I'm actually looking forward to seeing the rescue fleet arrive! You'll be welcome with many salutes, I'm sure

Have no experience with UA bombing and Meta Alloy cure ..so please give me just this info ... how much MA is considered to be useful - I mean per commander/ship/trip. Are 16 tons (my ASPX can handle) OK, enough, so-so, or such amount is just insignificant ?

Yup, 16t will be helpful (I have never been able to find a definitive answer on how many MA it takes to counter a UA/Thargoid Sensor, any amount is helpful to be honest). Its all about trying to stop Dove Enigma going into shutdown on Thursday.

The more the merrier. Don't forget to stack some data delivery missions to pay for your Meta Alloys (as you will lose some credits buying and selling them, if you collected them from barnacles and such you will be fine but still take the data missions for the cash)

I just finished last "Massacre XY pirate mission", which I accepted yesterday and this evening will switch from Vultuter to APSX and will head to Maia, then to Colonia. Anyway I need "trip" to unlock Palin, so this opportunity seems to be really good way how to accomplish it

I'll try to stack some data missions (if I understand Tourist systems should offer them) but even without those .. I'm rich enough .. OK, I'm kidding ... but I believe I sustain some loss to buy and sell MA Or I'll kill some pirates after my return ..

How will you travel there ? I mean which mode ? Open or some PG ? Not important now, but I'd like to see some real commanders at Dove ...

No problem, I am already in Colonia because I travelled with the Enigma Expedition (although I am slightly ahead of the actual schedule now). I did it in a mix of PG and Open, (PG was purely to meet up at the way points as the PS4 expedition was being carried out in a PG, send allcrowsareblack a message if you want to be added to the PG).

To be honest the expedition on PS4 could have been done in Open, I play in Open as much as I can as I prefer it personally. Very few PvP players are dedicated enough to patrol the Colonia Highway, just not enough targets to make it worthwhile.

I have switched to Open now I am in Colonia just to be able to chat to the few PS4 pilots I see (plus to see what my friends in Open are upto, its always nice being able to see where people are in the Galaxy I am nosey).

I have not had any grief in Colonia yet in Open.

Those of us waiting at Colonia can outfit our ships to offer repairs or fuel to anyone in need on their last leg to Dove Enigma. I'm not an official Fuel Rat, but if you're only a couple thousand LYs away from Colonia, it makes sense for help to come from those of us close by.

If something tragic were to happen and your ship becomes stranded beyond repair (module failure without AMFU), we could also pick up your cargo and see it delivered to Dove Enigma. Hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone, but at least your trip won't be in vain if it does.

I'll be leaving my PS4 on with my DBX in Colonia space during the day. I'll be AFK most of the time, but I know how nice it is to see a CMDR's ship (even if the CMDR is busy working in the ship's home office) after traveling so far. I'll probably toggle between Open, Mobius, and the Expedition's private group. If I see any suspicious ships in Open, I'll let you all know about it.

Twitko, from what I understand, a 4:1 ratio of Meta-Alloys are required.
It’s understood that over 400 UAs have been used in this attack, meaning a minimum of 2,000 Meta-Alloys are needed to repair, and add a buffer. So your contribution of nullifying 4 UAs is not small by any means.

I grabbed a fuel limpet controller before I set off out and have a 7a scoop, so if anyone gets 'thirsty' I can help out.

I play in open more than not these days as well, though I think the UA bombing shows that certain griefers are dedicated beyond reason. Waiting in a combat ship for the exploration fleet to show up at a clearly designated location would be way easier than carting UAs to Colonia.

Yesterday i wasted too much time:
1. Fitting the conda specifically for this trip.
2. Looking for data missions for Colonia at tourist systems only to find medium pad only or no missions to Colonia so i gave up after flying to about 6 systems.
3. Went to Maia to get MAs.
4. Was lazy and took a direct route through the bubble with a cargo that said "all you pirates would be stupid not to take a pop at this conda that is paper thin, can only boost to 200, has crap 4d shields, no point defence let alone shield boosters or guns and is carrying the most valuable cargo per ton in the known galaxy."
5. Peed a little escaping from a pirate who demanded 20t of my cargo (no way are you getting that) was firing missiles at me while i just about escaped with my tail between my legs.
6. Cried a little looking at my 19% hull ship while i used the afmu on my fsd and shields.
7. Exhaled a little landing at Hillary Depot.
8. Swore a little deciding i had had enough excitement for one evening and went to bed while docked at Hillary Depot.

So, this evening i have 1 goal to focus on and not waste time: Rohini and beyond!

Even if the Dove Enigma has enough MAs by the time i get there I am still making this delivery by Sunday and nobody is going to stop me! Lol

I love little stories like this, I think it adds a lot to the existing lore. With out actually adding anything to the existing lore. This game is fun and reading how one uses their imagination in addition to playing is also fun.

Well I am on my way to Colonia - taking a roundabout route but may get there by Sunday - sadly not got any MA's.

I am currently playing in the Mobius PVE group - not sure why considering I am in the middle of nowhere!

So will you be in Open when you get there or do you have a private group?
