You can get them at Thargoid Spire sites as well, around the structures dubbed as "Mega Barnacles" (note, needs to be an active site around an active Titan, so Thor, Raijin or Cocijo). Not sure if they respawn there though, and you'll have to contend with the Banshee disruption missiles as well (or bomb them out of existence alongside the Revenants... mind, an ECM can divert the disruptors away from your ship).ya, I'm trying to get Tactical Core Chips, but really not interested in anything on foot.
Seems like methods that worked last month are broken now.
It's not "space feet" that is required, at worst you'd have to go out in an SRV (Scorpion preferably) and shoot down the Revenants* until you have enough of the core chips(RNG willing - I spent a good while at one of Raijin's spires getting 15 of them to have a few for the engineering if I want to do any, plus an extra stockpile, if small). In fact, you can't even pick up the dropped Revenant bits on foot. Didn't even go outside the SRV once.Ya, I tried the just go to abandoned military sites for a few hours - they're dead, occasional interceptor jumps in but nothing on the ground. tried relogging too, still nothing.
I've heard that the drop rates for ship attacks at spire sites got reduced to zero last patch, but I havn't verified yet.
If Fdev is really forcing space feet I'm just gonna uninstall.
Spires; Each barnacle has 4 revenants guarding it, plus two buried that pop up if you start messing around inside the barnacle. You can get them at Thargoid Spire sites as well, around the structures dubbed as "Mega Barnacles" (note, needs to be an active site around an active Titan, so Thor, Raijin or Cocijo). Though, I have seen someone claim just going to an abandoned military settlement will still spawn Revenants even if you don't have a mission (which is definitely a thing that is missing and I guess it was/is an assumption of people the Revenant spawn is tied to it). Have not verified this for myself... but if it is accurate, you can also do that. Probably worth looking into at least if you don't want to bother with the spires.
