1 month into FD and I've died four times so-far, 2xsw, 1xcob, 1xtyp6 every one off them Station related infractions - Their the REAL Pirates and Griefers of FD, love the game though.

Died 3 three times.

All when coming into land too fast and missing the entrance. I've been playing since Premium Beta so you'd think I'd have learned by now. I guess I've just got no patience for careful docking.

Not since release.

Lots in Beta, once in gamma when I didn't have enough fuel to escape a patch of brown unscoopable brown dwarves.

Died twice since the start of gamma. Both from being rammed at combat zones.... one was about 3 seconds after I warped in, before I'd even chose a side some viper went barreling into me.

well once i barely dodged a much bigger craft out of the letterbox in my starter craft... and with the freagle i nearly burned up trying to scoop fuel from a star...

Got rammed by a NPC Asp at a USS. He had no shields left, and not much hull. I had most of my shields up, 100% hull, but my Cobra was creamed.

Mr Braben is quoted as saying he could make the AI so competent they would always fry players. I guess theyre making some more dangerous than others which can be roughly equated by comparing their piloting/gunning skills with their combat rating.
This system works for me :p

I died 20 minutes after creating my first commander and skipping the tutorials. Got interdicted and after a brief panicking with the controls, I self destructed while he was attacking me, CLEAR SAVEd, did tutorials and watched videos, haven't died since despite my strongest efforts ;)
