Store purchases for the LEP owners lol. That must be the biggest insult of all. Thats what they paid the extra money for.. skins and bobbleheads.. thats the content they expected when they clicked away their real life money.

it's just extra candy for the wait. they will get all dlc 'for free'.

i wasn't lucky, just smart. i rationally concluded that frontier didn't merit a blank check nor would that reinforce good practices. if it was a good or bad deal money wise was not really relevant on such amounts over such a long period of time. now i'll probably get all those dlc on sale for peanuts anyway. if they're appealing at all, that is.

As an LEP owner (the 2015 £120 version) I don't want stuff from the shop to placate me. What I would like is for FDev to up the pace a bit and bring out new paid versions of the game (atmospheric planets, for example) over the coming couple of years. Then I'd break even. At the current slow pace I'm not sure I'll be still playing the game to see this. ;-) This is not a complaint, only a wish!

The black paintjobs were a Horizons pre-order reward, not an LEP reward. So far the only difference between the 2015 LEP and a Horizons beta pre-order is that the LEP cost more.

You are very welcome to your opinion, but I'd suggest it depends on how much you paid for your LEP and your expectations. Certainly those who bought their LEP at the second time of offering paid a not insignificant amount that imho has not been satisfied to date.

Thus I reject your overly simplistic assessment.

I also think the whole issue about 2018 content, or lack there of, has been handled very poorly by FDev, and it took far too long and far too many threads (and I started one of them) to get any comment out of them, hence it is reasonable that there is residual irritation and distrust.

Then you paid an extra to get a privilege reserved only for those who did help during the harder dev times. You were late and you paid the extra.

I am grateful to lep owners because they contributed to the development of the game, but you risk to slow it down with all this customer whining.

On the contrary, the customer whining is a result of the delay. Some people are less patient than others sure. This situation has been handled badly, even attempts to placate have not been followed up.

I dont see how these threads slow anything down. FD pretty much ignore them, with every few months posting a brief "soon but not soon" response.
