Meh, I never got around to playing those newfangled games. Just looked like a rehash of Doom or something. I think I got the first one free in the Orange Box or something like that though. Portal was fun.

Been a while since I've seen a LEP thread, so here's another one! Yes yes, I know you just want me to shut up and go away by now, and no, that's not going to happen. I'm going to keep making posts like this until I get a solid answer.

In case you didn't know, FD have postponed their supposedly originally planned LEP content until next year. FD have said they will be 'opening the shop' (if someone has the exact quote, I'll edit my post) for LEP holders.

So, first of all, when will you be 'opening the shop' FD? Second, what will be up for grabs?

Then there's the 'originally planed LEP content'. You waited too long to release it FD, no matter what it is, it will be a disappointment. You might as well tell us what it is now, there's no fixing the disappointment, you can only make it worse by hyping it.

At this point, I don't even care when you will supposedly be releasing it FD, because I will not believe you. Why should I when you keep kicking it further and further back?

Elite and the LEP have been my single worst gaming purchase ever. The '$/hours' ratio is the worst I've ever seen, let alone played. "Oh, but, thousands of hours" I hear fanbois crying. 99% of your gametime is travel or grind. You have to divide your gametime by 100 to get the actual amount of time you have played the actual game parts.

This should be FREE to LEP holders and not be available to anyone else for a further year... and then the rest of the great unwashed have to pay double and not get the special bonus Cobra Mk V because they didn't buy the expansion early enough.

I've never said that, or anything like it. As far as I know, no one has said that (but you) or anything like that.

Patience is a virtue that unfortunately not many people have.

As of today, elite has been out 1394 days, or 3 years, 9 months, 24 days. Over that period of time, LEP holders have gotten exactly one thing. Elite will have been out for more than 4 years by the time LEP holders get anything else. Patience is not infinite.

You will get all paid content, when it comes and and without being charged for it.

That's debatable. If you consider paint and kits content, then no, LEP holders do not get all paid content for free. I don't really care about paint or kits at this point though.

Also unless you never actually installed the game you would have already got your monies worth in hours.

Oh really? ~$150 for ~10 hours of playing the game? You would consider that 'got your monies worth'? I sure don't. The travel times and amount of grind is insulting.

And the premium content that is coming up, LEP'ers are not going to have to dip into their wallets for . Everyone else has to if they want to stay up to date with the game.

What premium content? So far all FD have said is "there's something coming". What proof do I (or any of us) have that they aren't lying? For all I (we) know, there is no premium content, there never was any premium content, and there will never be any premium content.

Why does OP think 'continuing making these posts' has any influence on when FD gives info?

If enough of their playerbase gets mad, they'll do something. Money seems to be the only thing that these people care about, and if enough goes away because of the anger they've created, they WILL do something.

The LEPers in umpteen previous threads said so.

Would you like to invest in my new game, "RippenOffTJ"? It's a $150 investment upfront, with no guarantee that I will do any actual work, but in 4-10 years it will be the best game ever! It will have all sorts of awesome features that I will never actually implement! I even plan to do expansions, like "StealinFromTJ" and "PickinTJsBonesClean" which I will promise will be free but then move to a micro-transaction model.

I own Ark: Survival evolved on PC and Xbox and they both run equally trash.

Fortunately my PC is a bit of an overkill trash compactor, but prices for expansions, I've definitely saved more getting the season passes and such for Ark than if I had gotten the DLC separately.

Can't say that about ED unfortunately though. Still waiting on several more expansions with the LEP, and haven't seen any since Horizons, which was a given at the time of the Horizons LEP offer, i.e., not really additional fulfilled content, just the standard fare for 4 times the price, so far.
