So now we are being blocked from asking questions on the live stream if it's not what FDev want to hear?

What I find disturbing is Frontier's absolute silence on the latest GAME BREAKING patch. Twenty four hours later and not a peep from them. The livestream might not have been the place to address this, but the official forum surely is.
There were several comments IIRC. They should also create a dedicated thread for it.

I personally wasn't part of the moderators on the stream last night but here's a little insight into what probably happened.

If a stream is underway and let's say User A asks a question about for example when a bug is going to be fixed etcd then it's fine. If however User A then not getting a responce from the stream then repeats the question still fine as the Dev may not have seen it so User A then starts to ask repeatedly the same question then the mods will usually post in the chat to not spam the chat with repeated questions of the same kind if it contunues then we usually discuss on if a timeout of 5 mins would be appropriate to indicate to User A that we are aware of them ignoring a request to cease.

So, to be fair if at certain times i.e. when a update has been deployed and there are a number of bugs then we are aware of this and will usually take it into consideration.

But just spamming the chat etc isn't really going to achieve anything but a timeout or permanent ban from the chat.

On a side note... I am in constant communication with Frontier and I can only apologise to them for that...

So it is TJ's fault.

I'll address this post.

As can be seen from the screenshots I was involved in the stream chat.

Here are a couple of the messages shown in the OP. Note the time... the stream has been going on for over half an hour at this point and still the chat moderators are having to regularly remind the chat that there are:

146330

146331

At this point - over half an hour in - whilst helping chat members with information, the process of removing the spam messages about bugs, downright abusive and insulting messages directed at the Devs, and other irrelevant (to the subject of the livestream) is pretty simple. Stop them posting for 5 minutes. That allows us to actually respond to genuine requests for info or questions we can actually help with.

Basically, if you don't want to get blocked for 5 mins, behave yourself and you'll be fine. Keep your chat civil and relevant to the subject of the stream.
If you insist on 'fighting the fight' in an inappropriate place and time, at least be manfull about it and take the lumps (5 min timeout).
