Its all repairable.

The reason is due to the pulse fired by Salvation making use of the Thargoid site for amplification. It looks like the Thargoids have some built-in anti-guardian tech that Salvation didn't know about. We've seen how those sites react to Guardian cargo items before.

Expect Ram Tah to weigh in on the matter...

I was in the bar on Bright Sentinel last night. It must've been a good one because I woke up on my ship being attacked and taking internal damage. Muscle memory took over and I got out quick. If I'd thought about it, I'd be a corpse now. No interdiction - or would that be an extrodiction? - on the way out.

A big download though. What was in it apart from the cutscene? Must investigate.

Been there, there were no Thargoids anywhere (except for 3 totally peaceful interceptors doing their usual hyperdiction business), only 2 burning stations and tons of empty debris field signal sources.

Edit: oh, I could see one of the heavily damaged stations having been perfectly capable of shooting down a Chieftain CMDR for no apparent reason, does that count as danger?
Edit2: or the massive fleet of Orange Sidewinders :)

I've been there too and I didn't find any uninfested areas of normal space.

Supercruise is different but if you actually try to do anything, rescue anyone, read logs etc. expect hyperspace anomalies.

Well maybe you were using Ody.
I only have Horizons (and perfectly operational Guardian modules). :)
