I second this.. I decided to pull one of my crunch1.1ooo amps and some subs out of my truck and hooked them up to my gaming chair. I simply sat the speakers on the floor behind my chair, set LPF to 70-75 hz and away I went. the vibrations REALLY add to the immersion effect. Lastnight I ordered the buttkicker ct and cant wait for it to arrive. the D-scanner rummble literally gives you a 6 second massage. I can "feel" the engines (kinda like feeling the RPM of a car motor) , the pad landings, taking hits in combat and even turbulence at certain speeds. I did not have to adjust or tweak anything other that the amp that powers the "shakers". I say go for it if you're interested.Home build FTW!
I run homemade transducers in my chair - rat/steampunk build with a dedicated 7.1 surround amp powering them. Even with the rift on, the feel is great. It adds a very definite layer of immersion!
The build is here
also worth checking out some of the other builds

I decided to build as I could not find what I wanted on the high street.
