Sol Survivor - Your Evacuation Runner Ship

I've gotten thousands out of the warzone with this old Python. The only time I lost passengers was one of my first runs before I fitted the ECMS. Since then, I haven't lost anyone.

My Evac Conda (reference build, put your own cabins setup), has everything to protect itself.
I prefer it over others because of the jump range (and no mail slot exit issues, looking at you, Beluga).
The only thing it lacks is ability to put Luxury cabins but you can still put a lot of First Class ones.
I refuse to carry anyone who won’t get in my anacondas economy cabins. Doing my bit for the class struggle!

I suppose it doesn't matter how many credits you have if the Thargoids eat you, or whatever they do to people. Riding economy should be something even the most pampered person can do for a short trip at least to escape that.

I took an early storm rider orca (ship made to withstand the caustic sea early on when the maelstroms first arrived) and modified it to collect passengers.

Still bearing the gold non corrosive paint of the storm rider.

better than mine, but I still haven't lost anyone. I just GO FAST and use ECM and PD
Maybe I should paint it red. for extra speed.

I was running a Beluga for a while, but decided to try out a small, fast, cool build of a Mandalay instead. Only 44 Eco 'seats', but Thargoids are not an issue.

Mandalay Build out of bits in storage...

Actually runs at 14% heat on thrusters in game.
Nice build, but you don't need a Fuel Scoop for this one. Leave it on Cornwallis and put in E5 Economy cabin, 16 passengers more :)
Bring back Fuel Scoop once you deliver your last group before the fighting stage on Thursday.

T8. Nothing engineered, core; best available, no weapons, optional; strongest shield, economy cabins, utilities; 3 x shield boosters, 1 x ECM and upgraded hull and module hull to the best available.
I do lose passengers but i didn't know them anyway and just pay the fine.

I already had a passenger T8 outfitted and engineered for Robigo runs, which aren't especially lucrative now, so I'm glad to get some use out of it. The hunters rarely get a shot off, and have never breached the shields.

As you only come across a few goids in Sol at the moment to fight them, I took my AX-Vette to help in evacuation. 160 Passengers plus the benefit of the 9 million combat bonds every outbound jump.

How do you avoid Thargoid limpets with this setup?
T8 is not fast enough to just run.

i should have read this thread 1st :D..... its been a long long time since my pilot ate space. when i do thargoid combat activities i have a very strong ship however i (foolishly) popped over in my taxi asp.
i didnt have long to play so i stripped everything out... i figured i made it to sol without any drama at all so would be fine. fully loaded with passengers.. no shield and Abraham lincoln do not sell heatsinks but figured i could use silent running to escape from any interdictions.

i was wrong. 1st attempt and was hyperdicted. passengers were a total loss and whilst my insurance was well under a million it is the ship loss on my stats which stings. oh well..... if i get the chance to do it again i will have to build a better ship.

Thanks all for the advice in this thread. I'm now doing evacuations from Sol in a speedy Orca with the ECMs recommended here.

It's quite amusing that there are some refugees who want first-class cabins. :)

My Type-8 passenger transport:

When hyperdicted, it's kitted out for boosting away from the Thargoids, using ECM to confuse any incoming missiles. Usually only one missile is incoming before I can charge up the FSD and jump towards the rescue ship. I have never lost a passenger to Thargoids with this ship in 10+ passenger runs from Sol.

Drop heatsinks and keep your ship cold. Once below 20% they cannot really see you. Move off at a right angle to them boosting away until you can engage engines. Keep heatsinks rolling while this is happening.
Very similar to getting to a Titan. Heat is not your friend when dealing with E.T.

Screw the Sol and their fractions of degenerates. I am so fed up with dealing with those tiny idiotic fees that waste so much time because of bugs. Let them burn... where is my fiddle.

Oh, an now I am stuck with a pile of occupied rescue pods I cant hand over at the destination.
Enough time waste.
