Very much so, and have voiced my support for a poll of account users not forum users for this. But as I said, some really really don't want that because they want to claim and believe that those who do not PVP are the minority of players even though FDev has suggested otherwise multiple times
And are you aware the Devs confirmed that people who PvP are the minority in game?
So making a change that only suits the minority (PvP'ers) and is unpopular with the majority (PvE) players seems counterintuitive to the long term lifespan of the game.

Have a think about division of a whole rather than subtraction, if you want to think about game development as simple maths. Using maths as an analogy of game development processes, whilst giving the illusion of credibility, is still as weak sauce as the analogies of car engines, supermarkets, cats, underwear or any other attempt at metaphorical distraction.

I bet you are hoping Frontier don't read the threads too closely though just in case they realise there are a decent number in support who don't give a crap about powerplay but just want to urinate on others, (PVE'ers. solo/group players), game. You know the types Al, those who drop powerplay like a stone once they acquire their modules, those who have zero affiliation with any power and will just hop from one to the next to cause as much crap as possible and avoid consequences via the PP/C&P exclusions. Those who pretend this is great for them and PVP in general but will be back at every CG/POI 24/7 if not immediately then within two weeks of any such change being implemented doing kek all for any power.
I can get onboard with open only Powerplay, it would have been better had it been that way from the start rather than Frontier giving then taking away though. I have genuine support and hope it works out for those genuinely interested in powerplay and their affiliations to certain powers - best of luck to them.
What I simply cannot stand is the smoke some of the PVP community is blowing up Frontiers backside, pretending to care for powerplay, pretending they won't still be doing exactly what they have been - urinating people off in game. Pretending that hauling PVE tokens is suddenly gonna be great for them, in short, pretending they give a damn when all they really wanna do is crap on the 'other sides' game.
