"Something for the ladies" - Feminine versions of rank titles please?

I know some real life blokes who RP a female CMDR in game, and I also know some ladies who play a female character in game, but all of them get lumbered with "Duke" "Prince" "King" etc for naval ranks, can we make this thread fairly active to keep it bumped as coordinated effort to persuade FD to say "OK point taken - we'll put this in as one of the minor changes in 2.4 / 3.0".

I think it would wholly unreasonable to expect them to jump on this immediately, but it would be nice just to see FD say they'll end the unintentional discrimination against out feminine CMDR's in a reasonable time frame.

TL-DR chime in on this thread to keep it bumped to the top if you want female rank titles to be made available to female CMDR's ( and NPC's?)?

Although earl as applied to female players would need revised as the Lady title is already used as the feminine equivalent of Lord.

Sorry for the Necro on my own thread, but one of my in game friends who is female reached the majestic heights of king, and was mentioning the irony of it, so It struck me that this issue is still relevant, hence the necro / bump.

Never thought of that b4 TBH, but after reading some archaic posts in this thread, I'm now convinced that it is much needed. :D

Gender neutrality is the future. Not gender biased terms for each gender, of which their are about 750 billion now.

So it's either specific rank names for people who gender identify as zucchinis and attack helicopters, or it's one rank name for everyone.

OP, your request is intolerant, narrow minded, and gend-ist. Or whatever the hell that's called. You can either continue this petition (and fail), or leave it like it is. You, your friend, and everyone else are going to be just fine.

If Aisling Duval is a princess then it puts an end to "there are no gender specific titles in 3301" (which has always been the argument from what I've read).

You can't have it both ways, either make Duval a prince or put in female ranks.

One are Naval Honorific Ranks, one are royal line titles, they don't need to follow the same rules

As it is Both Senator Patreus and Senator Torval, not Senatrix Torval
