What? You mean you can't develop an awesome game, market it, update it, keep it running, adapt it to the needs and wants of the players, keep testing it, live your everyday life or reply to every single post?, as well as dropping subtle little hints as to what we might find in the game without giving too much away? Michael, I'm disappointed..... ;)

Exactly. The galaxy is huge. It's fun to speculate but people shouldn't be demanding FD to tell us if their hints are true or false. That's up to us to go find out.

I found some Artefacts in the HE BO system the other day. IIRC three Anacondas used them as bait (they jumped in shortly after). I've never saw anything else than gold used as a trap so I was kind of surprised to see pirates jumping in.

Sadly I could not recover them while fighting the Anacondas. Bad timing on my part.

I am currently in this system looking for more. Maybe I get lucky...

Just got the Peregrina(or whatewer its called) permit. Took me ~5 hours and now what.
Should i go look for the artifact thingy in uss and weak signal sources?

Unknown Artefact? I have run into some artefacts while out exploring and checking some random USS here and there. Whether they were Unknown, I don't recall.. but artefacts, I've seen in systems far away. (Btw.. my spellchecker is going nuts and demanding it should be spelled artifact, but it might be the American way for all I know.)

oooh dammit! I just logged off, and after that read this thread! DAMN YOU FD!!! I have life, wife, kid and a work, but there is mystery out there! Hmm, I guess I will send wife with kid to vacation and will take week off at work so I can sit next to canisters to listen their beepcodes :p

Btw with ED I finally feel like a little kid, solving puzzles and playing with stuff, so congratz to this as I dont know any other game studio that can achieve this! *clap* *clap*

Edit: So the probe is the octahedral thing behind the creature. And they came from the planet just after the asteroid belt (is that it?) and slingshotted the probe past the distant planets.

I guess the rest of the problem is the pulsar distances.

I bet the FD people are slapping their knees and giggling right now. (waves!)
