August Dev Diary, your hopes and expectations

i think the dev diary will be a single page of info that adds a bit more on what we know now. Will probably include a pic or two and maybe a short say 5-6 second video sequence of something. Subsequent diarys will then start to flesh individual aspects of the expansion out in a deeper dive...

I'd temper expectations. There is still likely half a year or more until Odyssey releases so Frontier has a ton of time to trickle out the information on the expansion. Remember how secretive they love to be.

Whatever gets announced or revealed by the end of August will probably only be a snippet of details on what Odyssey actually contains. Likely with some heavy foreshadowing or announcements of future dev diaries to come over the next half year. We've seen the trailer which heavily favors the combat aspect of Odyssey, the first dev diary might only deal with what we've seen already.

I wouldn't expect a full feature list of Odyssey, Frontier is probably still deciding what to cut in order to make release and they won't want to promise too much this far out.

Just my gut feeling given how little the trailer actually showed us.

In all those years still you haven't learnt that FIRST comes the "Announcement of the announcement" and then the "announcement" followed by the "recap of the announcement" and further speculation on the "recap of the announcement" which has been previously been announced by an "announcement of the announcement"?
