Agreed, what fears me most is not trump himself, he disgusts me, but it is the supporters he has brought out as well as his do anything nature. If, by some miracle he doesn't manage to screw us over, and actually does some good I'll be the first to admit I"m wrong but I just don't see that happening.

Another sad thing that this brings up is just how vail we as a people our to eachother in these times. If we don't align with others views we curse them and try to hurt them or we cast them out of our lives. I get it your passionate about your politics but really it's about being human to each other. Whatever happens we need to stand together and continue to fight for what we belive. A leader does have amazing power but we all know what happens when a society stands up for itself. I don't think we as a people will let trump bring about or destruction. We will either act if he starts bringing things down or support if he manages to make some good progress.

As an European Citizen it doesn't harm me directly. Currently I am kidding only that we now can disassamble those Hungarian fences and rebuild them at the Atlantic coastline to defend from too much refugees.
But we will see what he's doing to this country.
Maybe its time for the US to think of a 3rd party popular enough to counter the 2 party system. It can have some benefits and you have four years to organize it.

Regards,
Miklos

This is my hope. I'm hoping this election opens our eyes to flawed and corrupt system as well as allowing people to realize there is more than the big 2. HOwever, the media has to play it's part, but as soon as the big 2 have their winners they go on full blackout for anything except dem or repub and so people forget or ignore their other options.

Again, I don't think we learned anything shocking tonight.
Ever since the financial bust the Fed printed money to balloon the stock market and to finance the US debt, which is a de facto wealth transfer from the middle class to the rich, no wonder the people are upset. Trump was at least frank recognizing that we are in a "big ugly" bubble.

To me Hillary was too much about meddling in other countries internal affairs and about serving the same establishment as Obama. On the other hand I don't think Trump will nuke anyone.

Is there a Kickstarter to help fund this?

Careful now - if Trumpy "wins" this thing - he'll build a wall around every internet person he doesn't like :(

Besides - even mentioning anything anti-President on the interwebs can get you barred from entering the country. Which is a shame, as it's mostly a nice place and the vast majority of the inhabitants are lovely.

I agree trump won't nuke or destroy the world or country, it's about the individual rights he might hurt, or how his supporters might try and bring back the racial hate and so on and so forth. Again hillary is no better either for all the reasons you stated and more. She says what she needs to get he vote only to do her own things, she feels she isn't accountable for anything and who know what is truth or not.

It was a lose/lose and it's nobodies fall but the people.

To be fair he did say he wants to ban the internet. All US players get your Elite time in before it's too late: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/p...l-ask-bill-gates-to-close-it-up-a6764396.html

Also the UK is still open, you just have to learn to use S not Z and call it a bathroom/toilet not a restroom. :D

Edit: I'm also a little sorry for making humour out of what's a serious issue but I can't help it, I keep expecting someone to deliver a punchline when watching the news, or a giant Bazinga.. Not that Hillary was much of a better option imo, both were terrible candidates really if truth be told.

European citizen or not, this does affect me in a direct way. Personnally. This is a symbol of the downfall of some moral values, a victory for hatred, humiliation and blaming the other. This really hurts my feelings.
And reastically, the USA matter on the world affairs, be it political or economical. The world is directly impacted by such a decision. We still don't know in a bad or good way... I think it's the bad. This will be an inspiration to all preachers of hate and warmongers.

As a Brit and pro Brexit voter I applaud your choice of candidate. It looks like common sense has prevailed.
Hillary would have brought us to the brink of Armageddon with Russia over Syria. A woman that pretends she's a pro LGBT feminist but don't forget that her campaign was funded by Saudi Arabia in return for a more favorable foreign policy, a country where you can be put to death for being gay. As Obama said of Hillary in his 2008 presidential campaign against her, she will say anything and do nothing.

She is also pro TPP, a partnership negotiated in secret with 11 Pacific Rim nations that will have resulted in out sourcing your jobs abroad and would be a death nail to economic stability of Europe. Don't believe the mainstream leftist media. Trump, Brexit and the outting of the political Elite in Washington is what the world needs right now. I hope he gets in and hope for a hard Brexit.

I'm sure - but doesn't really apply to me :)

If things go south here in the US - I'll be on a plane to Edinburgh just as soon as my contract ends. Which is January 2rd.

I'll have to let three Americans know their jobs are gone, but hey, that's competitive commerce for you ;)

You know, thanks to elite I already go by your time, your date format, i've learned metric, well still learning, and I already say restroom, so damn, looks like i'll be on my way.

For me the only thing to do is make humor of it. It's serious but there is nothing we can do now. Trump is the leader and we will have to live with the mistake, unless he surprise us and actual does a decent job, can't count that out just yet, but everything in my body tells me that wont be the case.

I too just want a hug bazingaa or something. Maybe even just an alien race to come down and say it's all been a test. That they'd hope we wouldn't let someone so despicable, either of the, have such a coveted spot. Maybe they will take those who were smart with them to start someplace new.

I'm not sorry. The establishment tried blackmailing the voters between a corporate crook and an unleashed megalomaniac and we threw the maniac back in their faces. The plight of the poor and the dwindling of the middle class as class warfare continued unhindered would not have been made better with a Clinton government. It won't be made better now either, but at least they know there's a point where they can't decide what will happen for us. This will be a mess as opposed to the organised death of democracy. Clinton would have ushered in the coronation of the corporatocracy with the TPP. More loss of civil liberties. More Austerity. More white collar belligerence. More terrorism. What we get now won't be pretty. May very well be the beginning of the end of American hegemony, but it's better than the quiet death of democracy.
This just in:
HILLARY HAS CALLED DONNALD AND CONCEDED DEFEAT!

Out of interest, what happens if Trump loses his fraud trial in a couple of weeks? I think it's a civil matter, but if a prosecution followed?
