Ive even heard of Atheist's turning to Christ Jesus and becoming minister's of the gospel
There is hope for the world!! That is the essence of the Gospel.
John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
If all of mankind die.. what do you suppose the implication of perish means?
Sure, I believe that there is something like God, but I don't feel any obligation to worship it.
A much more logical position, but still strange. What makes you think there's something like a god, if I may ask? You seem like a well educated modern person. What in the scientific world view leaves a gap that makes you think "and that's why there has to be a god".
I honestly don't know. Maybe I just don't get all to well around the possibility that we're just an insignificant coincidence which appears in one moment and disappears again in the next. Or I don't want to believe that my existence vanishes after death.
That said, I think that there is one. I don't know it for sure though. It's a possibility.

Thanks. It's a subject that interests me.I honestly don't know. Maybe I just don't get all to well around the possibility that we're just an insignificant coincidence which appears in one moment and disappears again in the next. Or I don't want to believe that my existence vanishes after death.

We are infinite energy,
A part of probably infinite energy.
And probably infinite universes.
(and yea, shamanistic and reincarnational beliefs probably have more merit than our "finite" ideas of "our" lives)
Jesus Christ was a Middle-Eastern dissident of Western imperial occupation of Palestine. Had he been alive today he'd have been called a terrorist.
The fact he appears to mean so much to white anti-Arabic westerners is a matter of extreme cognitive dissonance.
My travels in India and those regions did something to my world viewI apologize ...
This has all gone a bit OT.
Right, what has Trump done in the last 48 hours that's horribly cringe-worthy?
