But Wildlife Park 3 isn't a good Zoo Game. They released it absolutely unfinished even though the first 2 where absolutely great. They are so addicted to Money that they don't even give the People that bought it normally, the Opportunity to buy the Expansion Packs without needing to buy the Game again on Steam. Shame on them

Perhaps I should have clarified "mainstream", as in Zoo Tycoon and its sequels.

Or maybe just no Zoo Tycoon game, then.🤷‍♀️ Though it is weird to execlude other zoo games with that just because you dont know them/like them or they are just not popular enough:unsure: But I didnt mean to start a huge debate about it, I just wanted to make aware of the fact that they were already added in another zoo game.

Oh, I know that. I was also very disappointed by it. I also didnt say it was a good game - but its still a zoo game. As the statement was "No zoo game has given us the emu, and Frontier has missed their opportunity to be the first." and WP3 is still a zoo game and it added the emu, no matter how bad it is. ;) So even if Frontier added the emu now or later PZ would still not be the first zoo game to have them:cool:

Oh, so your point was just to be pedantic in order to prove me wrong for some reason.

sigh Really dont know why you react that way? You did not say Zoo Tycoon games, but zoo games and for me that includes all and since I do have WP3 and its DLC, I knew they have them so I just wanted to share the fact that there was already a zoo game who added them before. And I would have tell this aswell if another one made this satement and not you. This was not meant to be bad in any way...
And that is the last thing I will say about it since its pointless anyways.

For Australia I would say the emu as it is so iconic and a keystone species in pretty much any Australian zoo and most Australian enclosures or sections. There are other Australian animals I would love but for me the emu is the one must have.

From Europe I would say the elk (moose) and alpine ibex. The Eurasian lynx and wolverine are also key for the Nordic zoo I want to build. But I could go on...

From Africa both the rhinos are a must and if I had to pick only one I would say the white rhino. Meerkats are the other obvious species from Africa. I think these are now the most obvious omissions in the game from any region or continent.

From Asia the single key animal is the Asian small-clawed otter. I think I’d also say the Przewalski’s wild horse.

There are animals from the Americas I would love to see and it’s hard to pick a ‘must’ but I’d love a capybara. It’s cute, it’s popular and found in zoos large and small all over the world. I’d also say the beaver.

A penguin species is a must have and although I think I’m in the minority, I could live with them not diving. I would much prefer an African or Humboldt penguin to the king or emperor.

I don’t want a full aquatic expansion but I do feel that a seal or sea lion would make the game significantly more representative.

There are so many animals I would love and I guess these are just the top of the iceberg.

My personal "must-haves" are ..

  • Seal (preferably Crabeater or Leopard)
  • Penguin (any!)
  • Moose
  • Honey Badger
  • Ocelot or Serval
  • Beaver
  • Red Fox
  • Maned Wolf
  • Cougar
  • Przewalski Horse
  • Eurasian Lynx
  • Owls (with being able to build big aviaries)
  • Bats
These would be super cool to have, especially seals and Penguins as well as birds and big aviaries.

Right, it's definitely not on par with Planet Zoo. And sadly, it's been the "best" zoo game series since Zoo Tycoon 2.

It's not even on par with some ZT2 mods. And I am not talking about RR.
I never actually got around playing WP games, I used to have WP2 for the shortest time, and gave up when I discovered that plants have needs

I do occasionally play wlp3 which I enjoy from time to time. Never got into wlp2 tho. I have the complete game but a little to demanding in gameplay. I agree zt2 was the superior game in terms of gameplay and overall building. Graphics lacked a little but I get it for 2004 it was a great game and still is today especially with the mods. I haven’t played since the arrival of planet zoo which is the game I’ve always wanted in a modern zoo sim.

For me, Fennec foxes, brown Hyenas and Maned wolves are a must, both the African and South American continents were extremely under-represented in the base game and one of Africa's most endangered animals didn't even get a look-in instead the much more common spotted hyena did, and let alone the fact Fennec foxes are widespread in zoos all over the world.

Other than that I would love to see some macaws and Lynx added to the game.
