As pretty as it looks, I feel it's a bit on the 'lean' side to be a reflection of the Milky Way. I suspect it's indicating something more specific (Ammonia worlds?), or perhaps it's just symbolic?
Thargoid wind.

Agreed with that, the first time I went looking I got lucky within 20 to 30 minutes, the second time, nearly an hour or so. Although, to be fair, perhaps if we weren't just look for free floating ones and went for the ones in convoys there would have been more chances but I don't usually fight so that route doesn't work for me especially in an asp fitted for exploration.
How close to the planet were you when you found them ?
The only time I've had even the wrong ss show up I've been pulling away from the planet so I'm wondering if I should be flying closer or further away from the ammonia worlds than I am .
HOnestly I don't have a set distance. I just go close to the planet then back further, after a minute or so I drop out of SC and then return and do the same thing again. Any USS that pops up I usually drop into and then leave again just to reset the RNG luck! I usually get 1 in about an hour or so.
Or getting Palin unlocked to get corrosive resistant cargo racks, especially if one doesn't have Qwent unlocked yet. Depends on one's perspective. [alien]The hardest thing about this is finding a UP I've been flying around planet 8 in in kc-u b3-1 for what feels like forever.

I was trying to watch the Canonn livestream but it was a complete mess. People shouting over each other, one guy demanded he get credit for figuring this out and wanted his name put on all the streams, plus the lack or a real scientific investigation. It was truly sad to see. I'll be poking around tonight once I get off work to do some real investigations.
Also for those of you actually interested in how the "puzzle" was "solved" from what i gather you need to
Take an unknown probe and an unknown artefact to the inside, go onto the ramp and wait till it glows and the hologram stops moving, the base will rumble. Drop just the UA on the UA ramp. Take your UP into the side tunnels and find the unknown link and pick one up. Take both pieces back to the ramp and Repeat the process for both (wait on ramp till the hologram stops and it glows and the base rumbles, then drop the item on the ramp). After the structure glows you scan the unknown link.
Is that an Unknown Link, Unknown Probe and Unknown Artefact "Hooked up" to begin with, before dropping to the floor (and ostensibly able to be picked up?)
Or did you have to bring all three there?
If I had it my way, this game would have me believe that I was the first to discover it.
If one person posts one thing on the canon thread or is near another canon person when something is discovered... the canon take credit for it. Sad but true. Guild by association I guess.
the 5th site discovered is apparently "active" -HIP 14909 2A -26.4591 / -27.4761
Cool, I've just arrived in HIP 14909. What is UP and UA though?

Is there an easier method to locate the coordinates-26.4581/ -27.4761 When entering the planet Space?
Something tells me this is going to be something awesome. Thanks.
