Tbh I hope it's something more than just an animal pack. I don't expect birds or anything of the style but a complete animal roster closing up what we are missing plus a little bit more would be the ideal way to close up the game.
Oh, add the peere David’s deer somewhere in this list, despite my bias for feathers it’s one of the ungulates I would love to see the most. Or a muntjac!Like I said before, let this pack have 12-20 animals and I would buy it in a heartbeat. Have these guys plus a couple others and I am sold. I’ll go off what you have and double the animal roster.
Bonus 4 other animals:
- Spider monkey
- Golden lion tamarin
- Spectacled bear
- Rhea
- Mara
- Coati
- American flamingo/ scarlet ibis
- Grey crowned crane
- Great white pelican
- Hamadryas Baboon
- Nigerian dwarf goat
- Blackbuck
- Mallard duck/ mandarin duck
- Golden pheasant
- Exhibit: King Cobra
- WTE: Budgies
I’m fine if we get a lot of clones as long as we get more diverse options. Personally I want (besides a duck) the American flamingo, we don’t have a New World species and American flamingos are very common over here.
- African spurred tortoise/ red footed/ radiated tortoise ( I would love a habitat turtle, like the Amazon river turtle)
- Nile crocodile/ slender shouted crocodile
- Another crane species, like the Whooping crane
- Another game bird species, like the wild turkey or western capercaillie
I’m gonna be a bit more optimistic today, I think something cool will be coming (besides console release). Frontier is trying to up community engagement and did a huge sale of the whole game (the main game and every dlc was around $90 on steam! One heck of a deal) so I think they are trying to get attention to the game again.Tbh I hope it's something more than just an animal pack. Same here, I'd love a pack of 20-30 animals at around $25, even though I totally don't see that happening. I can see half of that happening though. But for kicks, a supersized pack of 30 animals. Breaking this down by region, those some animals would show up in a couple of regions, I'm assigning them to just one region.Oh, add the peere David’s deer somewhere in this list, despite my bias for feathers it’s one of the ungulates I would love to see the most. But I agree, I hope the final pack is more than just a regular animal pack. Honestly I’ll pay $30, triple the price of a normal dlc, if you give us a large and diverse roster.
God please no. Dont jinx it pleaseUs on the forums, Reddit, and steam: hoping the last pack will have monkeys, birds, reptiles, and more South American representation.
Frontier reading all of that fully aware the last pack will have more dogs, cats, bears, and ungulates:

Sorry just thought of the meme and had to get it out lol, I promise I’m gonna be more positive going forward.
As much as I'd love support to continue, these are all very positive ways to look at a final pack. The "no bumps in the road when planning a zoo" bit in particular is a big one for me. Every 1.5 months or so, I kinda freeze up with some of my larger builds wondering if something will drop in the next DLC that will make me want/have to go back and re-do everything. LOLI kinda woke up incredibly excited about the "last pack", as I just see the positive in it.
I wouldn't have been at this point after 5 packs, but I am now and most others here aren't (which is okay, everyone has different needs), so I might be chased with pitch forks after this.
- Potentially larger
- No "will the next pack be good or a let down after 3 months of waiting" after that anymore
- No bumps in the road when planning a zoo
- Full animal palette to play with, without oddballs thrown, making for a loooot of cool, well planned projects on my end
- Looking forward to the evolution of Planco 2, as this will give us a good indication on what we might get with PZ2
- Using mods (mainly replacements, some new animals and object mods) without the hazzle to change them out with each update, so noooo more ugly lion, in case Frontier does never fix it.
Plus: My few left animal wishes do not fit in one DLC theme.
Like you said, there's really no way this pack would happen but... This would be sweet! Haha. I'd pay $40 for this too. Probably more if I'm being real. Anything for the tree kangaroo, coati, ocelot, and new monkeys!Same here, I'd love a pack of 20-30 animals at around $25, even though I totally don't see that happening. That's about the best roster I could come up with for the general community. Some of my own very much wanted animals don't appear on here, so it's not just for me. We get an additional 7 birds, 5 of the 6 longstanding highly requested animals in (the Walrus being the only omission) and 5 New World Primates (though 3 are exhibit animals)
Short of flying exhibit type birds, which we are not going to get, I can't think of a better roster to end on. Would gladly pay even $40 for this
A generic theme to ensure a broad spectrum of requested species get in (e.g., secretary bird, tree kangaroo, coati, howler monkey, ocelot, 1 new aquatic bird species, 1 new NA species) and to work in some additional generic zoo items would be really nice...Honestly I love the eight animals shown before, and can totally see a pack without a clear overlapping theme as the final one, with just having some species from all around the world (like the World Fair theme or something in PlanCo). I would hope that we get one more rig based off the mute swan, and preferably a pelican (one can hope).
If a larger-than-usual general pack is what we get, I hope there will be some construction items too. This would be the opportunity to give us more generic zoo items that do not fit any particular regional theme, but are nevertheless important for some basic zoos. Perhaps some modern tiles, rustic horizontal wood, and that kind of stuff would make me the happiest person on earth.
Oh, and if we could get some of the most requested foliage pieces (things like the traveller's tree and bird-of-paradise), that would also be awesome!
I’m sure it won’t happen, but part of me does feel a bit bad. You are allowed to like and love dogs, cats, bears, and ungulates. So when we mention how much we don’t want them it does feel a bit rude. Buts that’s more due to having a wealth of options. Yes specific species are absolutely missing and could still be added into the game, but let’s not act like these animals haven’t been catered to for awhile. I would want someone to picture it like this:God please no. Dont jinx it please![]()

I’m called a bird fan, but you wouldn’t call someone a mammal fan if they love cats. That would seem silly. That’s what it feels like to like birds, there are specific groups I enjoy. To be specific these are my favorite bird groups:
I recognize they won’t get in game for a number of reasons. Still, it feels a bit unfair at times. Imagine being a cat fan and after four years of waiting the cheetah is finally added. I recognize that these mammals are simply more popular with the public, and probably easier to add into the game. Still, I wouldn’t look at someone who wants on ocelot or Pallas cat and tell them “just use mods”.
- Birds of prey, unless we get a secretary bird or burrowing owl it’s not gonna happen
- Flamingos, we have one species in game and haven’t gotten one since. I need a different species, my zoos are usually in North America and I don’t think I’ve ever seen the greater flamingo in person.
- Songbirds, not gonna happen.
- Seabirds, not gonna happen unless we get a puffin or pelican
- Waterfowl, after four years the most likely bird group to get in game is finally got one
I am tired of how toxic some of these debates can be, everyone is allowed to love animals of any kind. I’m just tired that after four years of development the entire clade of aves just barely rivals some of the mammal families in game.
Yeah this is what I’m feeling, bring on more of these guys as long as it isn’t at expense of parts of the roster already suffering.Ofc everyone can want more cats, dogs and so on.
But i personally hope that this last packs will fill up the missing holes in the roster instead of providing more variety for already well represented groups, and those holes just aint more of what we got already loads of.
Idk i guess it depends on the size of the pack, if its like 20 animals i could stomach one of them being another cats, dog and so on. But if its just 8, or even only 5 , hell nah
Hey buddy, I'm not big with birds and I'd still love some ducks and especially a more colorful Flamingo! After some reflection I would like to apologize for also adding into the toxicity at times, I don’t want to make it seem like someone’s favorite animal is a bad choice. I’m just tired, I have bought every dlc and I’m also a paying customer. I would just like Frontier to focus on other animal groups, even if it is the last pack. So with all the energy going around I guess I just have to get stuff off my chest. I just feel like a crazy person asking for another flamingo or duck and feeling like that’s an insane thing to ask of Frontier. Or asking for Frontier to make a pack with a more heavy focus on birds. This is a zoo game, so I feel crazy like I’m annoying people. It’s just weird that some of my favorite and most important animals are underrepresented in a zoo game. Even a cowboy game like Read Dead redemption 2 has more birds. So like I said, I would like to apologize if I ever seemed dismissive or rude over someone favorite animals, you are allowed to like bears, cats, dogs, and ungulates.
Yeah I hope so, if this final dlc doesn’t add what I’m hoping for the modders of this community are wonderful so I plan to use them! Especially all the awesome work on exhibits going on!Hey buddy, I'm not big with birds and I'd still love some ducks and especially a more colorful Flamingo!I totally get you.
But while the chances are slim for PZ, imagine how much they could change up their pattern for PZ2, with maybe even free flying and something that is probably less buggy and well more even out than , say, the current climbing system or even the deep diving.
That does probably not ease the frustration now, but all the bird talk will influence Frontier in their future planning, I'm sure.
This would be the absolute dream!!Same here, I'd love a pack of 20-30 animals at around $25, even though I totally don't see that happening. I can see half of that happening though. IMO this roster really lacks Asian animals. Asian deers, especially, are both common in captivity and quite important for the region, and yet you don't have any in this list. India also needs a monkey to get to an acceptable level of representation (a langur or a macaque), and pheasants are recognizable, really common in captivity, and emblematic of East Asia too. A small carnivore would also be interesting (either the fishing cat, the pallas cat or the yellow-throated marten). Then there are many possible filler species (gaur, nilgai, honey badgers...).Same here, I'd love a pack of 20-30 animals at around $25, even though I totally don't see that happening. I can see half of that happening though. But for kicks, a supersized pack of 30 animals. I thought about most of those things too and I have to admit that I of course would be happy if the support continues but it would also be a relief to know that nothing more is coming and I can build my zoo a bit more peacefullyFor me personally it's hard to engage in this thread.I kinda woke up incredibly excited about the "last pack", as I just see the positive in it.

Yep, fellow perfectionist here and I too hope for more finished zoos on my end.I thought about most of those things too and I have to admit that I of course would be happy if the support continues but it would also be a relief to know that nothing more is coming and I can build my zoo a bit more peacefully
I'm an ultra-perfectionist and I always need to plan everything before starting a project. It's a huge fault of mine and not knowing what unforeseen circumstances I might encounter tends to paralyse me. And the construction of my zoos is no exception to the rule. I've never been able to finish a park because of that. I hope that the end of the DLCs will solve this problem, but knowing me, I could always say to myself: "What if one day there's a mod of such and such a species and I haven't planned the space to put it in?"![]()
