I also think 200 species would be very satisfying so there are 2 ways to go for me. Either they release a classic scenery pack in April with 5 species (from Central/South America) and a final pack with 15 species from all over the world in July/August, or they just realease a final pack in May (as we know the last pack will by in FY 2024) with 20 species from all over the world but with a bit more effort on South America. I like the first option because it seems realistic but also if we know that the game is coming to an end, I want it to come quickly so I don't have to suffer for too long. The secund option is therefore attractive too.
If I had to create a final 20, I would go with: 15-16 habitat species, 2 walkthrough exhibit species (macaws and lorikeets if possible

) and 2-3 classic exhibit species (a chameleon, a cobra and whatever you want for the last one). For the habitat species I would go with:
- 5 from SA (Coati, Spectacled Bear, Ocelot, Black Howler Monkey and Patagonian Mara)
- 2 from NA (ABB, Rocky Mountain Elk or Sea Otter)
- 3 from Africa (Nile Crocodile, Hamadryas Baboon, Grey Crowned Crane)
- 3 from Asia (Palla's Cat, Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey, Blackbuck)
- 1 from Oceania (Echidna)
- 1 from Arctic (Walrus or Musk Ox but Walrus is definitely more needed as it is difficult to mod)
I miss something from Europe but I don't see much species left that are very interesting (except for the brown bear but we alreay have several populations of the brown bear in game). I would also love pelicans or ducks but I'm counting on our friendly modders for that :|
