Question, though... Anyone know how to upgrade to standard beta from just the game? Premium Beta reduces the cost with the current level when added to the basket, not so Standard Beta. It is confusing.

It should work. Says so in the newsletter.

I'm a little bit worried about the exp pass and the "lever of success". This is the quote :

"We have regularly said that depending on the level of success of Elite: Dangerous we intend to continue expanding it with new content and new features."


I firmly believe that elite is capable of selling 1 million copies during the first month after the final release and surely will be a huge success at the level of a AAA title and never seen before for a space sim, but I've a little fear about the planetary landing which is my main favourite feature. Probably is just a paranoia

As I said, no, it demands the full price, not considering the existing purchased game (end up paying for the already bought game and then wanting full payment for a game with standard beta). :S

Meanwhile, I can still get Premium Beta at a discount. That is the confusing part.
