The most wanted feature and the least developed... well, unless industrialist doesn't mean who can spend the most on JPGs.

Poor souls. They should just pick up Astroneer (or NMS if they want something similar but more systems-heavy).

And remember, during all of the content I describe, there is no break or loading screen!

OH MY GOD! NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE!

Tell me, are you a time traveller from the 90s? Did the last couple of decades just slip you by somehow? I was mildly impressed by the lack on loading screens in 2002 with the release of Dungeon Siege (best game in the series i would say... 2 was ok, 3 i played for 5 mins and refunded, it was horrible).

But you're deflecting, you're said more content that any other game you've played before. Ok, so we are willing to accept you lack experience of games with content, and its a real shame, because you've missed out on lots of games.

Perhaps time for you to broaden your gaming horizions?

I mean, just sticking within the same genre and both ED and NMS have more content than SC. Going outside the genre, there are dozens of games with more content than SC currently has.

More planets doesn’t equal more content. SC is on par with content and will surpass them all with 3.8, especially ED.

For NMS they have base building, which is more than SC. But, it looks like a cartoon.

No, but having actual things to do on those planets, and having layers upon layers of mechanics to support those activities, and having multiple iterations and implementations of those activities, and having macro-scale dynamics fed by those mechanics and activities does equal more content. NMS and ED both have those in abundance. SC has a handful of locations — all of them interchangeable — a handful of activities, and no coherent or overarching meaningful gameplay.

What does SC have that even remotely qualifies it as “on par” with anything? What does 3.8 add that lets them surpass anything?

I love how SC fans have been saying that since... since like 2.0? Sorry, I lost track, but since 3.0 for sure. In 3.0 SC will have more content than ED, no wait, in 3.1, in 3.5, in 3.8, in 2021, no it always has had more...

Damn, ED must have added a ton of planet (well planets with no atmosphere) based content since the last time I played a few months ago.

I can't wait until Star Citizen adds VR support, a fully-working flight model, server meshing (not 50-player capped servers), player/ship refueling/repair/healing, base building, stable physics, faction warfare, faction reputation, a few dozen star systems to explore, aliens to battle/research/trade, aliens structures to explore, scientific mysteries, lore-filled wrecks and bases, dynamic economy, crafting, equipment modification, guild mechanics, functional tutorials, farming, functional NPCs with AI, black holes, orbital mechanics, fleet carriers, sharable discoveries, and full MMO persistence.

But tbh I don't understand content development.

oops, I forgot, ED is perfect. yeah, my mistake.
There are plenty of things to improve about Elite Dangerous - see chat topics in Dangerous Discussion and /r/EliteDangerous for that (there is a beta ongoing right now too).

Back on topic, I see that plenty of Javelins and Idris' were sold yesterday - whale wallets be milked, wowsers at those macrotransactions. The assumption is still that these ships will only appear in Star Citizen after Squadron 42 launches, yes?

That is an impressive lack of anything remotely resembling something that at a very long distance on a foggy night could conceivably be construed as possible to be confused to an actual argument.

Why would anyone get into an actual argument with you? You obviously know everything and have never been wrong. Sounds like a fools errand.

I wish I was English like my hero Tj.
Have had more luck with SC after I moved the installation to a SSD. Played a bit more today and tried out the Caterpillar.

I had one of these back when I was still invested in the project. I have to say it's just as beautiful a ship as I hoped it would be back then. One of my favorites for sure. I really dig the aesthetic.

Well, why did you? Especially when you didn't even want to address the points being made or the questions being asked? You had an opportunity to illustrate all kinds of things that would have weakened my claim but instead you only managed to offer sarcasm, off-topic tangents, and (poorly) veiled personal attack…

…or was that the goal all along?
