is Squadron 42 still a thing or is it dead I wanted to play that
It’s a running joke, does that count?
Last we heard it was supposed to enter closed beta in Q2 (then Q3) 2020…
is Squadron 42 still a thing or is it dead I wanted to play that
That is a pretty shoddy practice to be honest.SA says this. Is it true?![]()
It will be the Answer tois Squadron 42 still a thing or is it dead I wanted to play that

I wouldn't worry, it was almost completely finished and was going to be released in 2016. What more needs to be done except a little polish here and there?

I was all in when I heard the was going to be a new freelancer type game than all this happened lol. forgot all about it till some ask me about sc the other day lolWhat? You didn't answer the call in 2014?
Can I have your stuff?
I heard if a game takes longer than 2-3 years to deliver it becomes stale. Can't quite remember who said that.
Anyway, over on Spectrum...

And i wasn't sure if any backer would raise the topic of auto-accepting EULAs, or if Nightrider or someone else wouldn't lock it down immediately.
But its there, at least for the moment

Launcher v1.4.11 EULA Timer - Star Citizen Spectrum
After the launcher updated to the captioned version yesterday I got one of those EULA pop-ups that we've been geeting as of late. While still reading and scrolling, I noticed the countdown timer...robertsspaceindustries.com
They are saying its not the EULA though but simply an ITS ALPHA disclaimer.
Can someone confirm?
I mean, if the box you press says something like "I agree" or "I accept" then it certainly sounds like its some sort of contract/agreement that you are being asked to acknowledge/confirm.

As I said earlier this year, Squadron 42 will be done when it is done, and will not be released just to make a date, but instead only when all the technology and content is finished, the game is polished, and it plays great. I am not willing to compromise the development of a game I believe in with all my heart and soul, and I feel it would be a huge disservice to all the team members that have poured so much love and hard work into Squadron 42 if we rushed it out or cut corners to put it in the hands of everyone who is clamoring for it.
Aye, they can't get the Ai station defenses to actually hit anything that's flying so rather than fix a complicated thing like broken Ai targeting or do the sensible thing and reinstate the no-fire zones, they've decided to fit everyone in hangars so the torpedo spammers can fire straight through the open doors to kill us rather than just blow us up on the padsBecause ships on pads get blown up.
At least they are consistent in not fixing broken game mechanics.Aye, they can't get the Ai station defenses to actually hit anything that's flying so rather than fix a complicated thing like broken Ai targeting or do the sensible thing and reinstate the no-fire zones, they've decided to fit everyone in hangars so the torpedo spammers can fire straight through the open doors to kill us rather than just blow us up on the pads![]()
Surely, that is a contradiction. No fire zone was a placeholder. CIG wants free fire with consequence at anyplace.
I guess also that you might not be able to enter city with guns in the future, they have metal detector booth assets and guards at each spaceport entrance.
