The correct analogy is keeping an inventory system with the storage in Valheim and yeah, that's the more not so fun aspect of it. Factorio, Satisfactory and Dyson Sphere Project have largely gottern rid of that crap and feature automated storage. Yes you can do it manually but the point is getting rid of that menial work and automate it all.

Unfortunately they cost 60,000 RUR. I might have a budget for 50k max soon.... but that will be most of what i'm expecting for my birthday, and if i blow it all on a graphics card.... i'm not sure my wife will understand.
The market sucks at the moment and i don't see it improving any time soon.

Flinging boxes around with a tractor beam is probably more fun than chopping down trees.
Yeah, I found out that my card had about doubled in value since I bought it....it was pretty affordable (about 350 euros) when I bought it. Nowadays same goes for over 600 at same store....
Not the best time to be a gamer or a game developer looking to make games with high requirements.
You can always buy a jpg - it's not that demanding on your hardware. And pretty much all you'll ever get from it.
You can thank this tool me thinks. Just imagine the same if you had to carry and place the boxes by hand and the marvellous innerthought UX.

I have seen people running aimlessly in confusion around space stations with supply boxes from the Xeno Threat wrecks not realising you're supposed to supply the Javelin at the nearby Jericho naval port with those boxes.
Its helarious.... especially when you tell them the over voice comms, they stand and stare at you with this box in hands with even more confusion.
